“Moreover thou shalt say unto them, ‘Thus saith the Lord: “‘Shall they fall and not arise? Shall he turn away and not return?
Moreover thou shalt say unto them, Thus saith Jehovah: Shall men fall, and not rise up again? Shall one turn away, and not return?
“Moreover [Jeremiah], you shall say to them, ‘Thus says the Lord, “Do men fall and not rise up again? Does one turn away [from God] and not repent and return [to Him]?
Moreover, you [Jeremiah] shall say to them, Thus says the Lord: Shall men fall and not rise up again? Shall one turn away [from God] and not repent and return [to Him]?
¶ Moreover thou shalt say unto them, Thus saith the Lord; Shall they fall, and not arise? shall he turn away, and not return?
“You are to say to them: This is what the Lord says: Do people fall and not get up again? If they turn away, do they not return?
Say to them, The Lord proclaims: When people fall down, don’t they get up? When they turn aside, don’t they turn back?
“You are to tell them that Adonai says: ‘If a person falls, doesn’t he get up again? If someone goes astray, doesn’t he turn back?
The Lord said: People of Jerusalem, when you stumble and fall, you get back up, and if you take a wrong road, you turn around and go back.
And thou shalt say unto them, Thus saith Jehovah: Do [men] fall, and not rise up? Doth one turn away, and not return?
And thou shalt say to them: Thus saith the Lord: Shall not he that falleth, rise again? and he that is turned away, shall he not turn again?
“Jeremiah, say this to the people of Judah: ‘This is what the Lord says: “‘You know if a man falls down, he gets up again. And if a man goes the wrong way, he turns around and comes back.
‘Jeremiah, tell the people that this is what I, the Lord, say to them: When people fall down, they get up again. When people realize that they are on the wrong road, they turn around.
You are to tell them that this is what the Lord says: Do people fall and not get up again? If a person turns away, doesn’t he turn back again?
“You shall say to them, Thus says the Lord: When men fall, do they not rise again? If one turns away, does he not return?
“You shall say to them, Thus says the Lord: When men fall, do they not rise again? If one turns away, does he not return?
“Say to them [C the people of Judah]: ‘This is what the Lord says: When people fall down, don’t they get up again? And when someone goes the wrong way, doesn’t he turn back?
Thou shalt say unto them also, Thus saith the Lord, Shall they fall, and not arise? shall he turn away and not turn again?
“Say to them, ‘This is what the Lord says: When someone falls, he gets back up. When someone turns away from me, he returns.
The Lord told me to say to his people, “When someone falls down, doesn't he get back up? If someone misses the road, doesn't he turn back?
“You are to say to them: This is what the Lord says: Do people fall and not get up again? If they turn away, do they not return?
“Say to the people of Judah: ‘This is what the Lord says: When a man falls down, doesn’t he get up again? And when a man goes the wrong way, doesn’t he come back again?
“You are to say to them, ‘This is what the Lord says: “Will a person fall down and then not get up? Will someone turn away and then not turn back again?
¶ Moreover thou shalt say unto them, Thus hath the LORD said: The one who falls, does he never arise? he who turns away, does he never return?
Moreover thou shalt say unto them, Thus saith the Lord; Shall they fall, and not arise? shall he turn away, and not return?
Moreover thou shalt say unto them, Thus saith the Lord; Shall they fall, and not arise? shall he turn away, and not return?
“You shall say to them, ‘Thus says Yahweh, “Do men fall and not get up again? Does one turn away and not turn back?
“And you shall say to them, ‘Thus asks Yahweh: “Do men fall and not stand up? If one turns away does he not return?
Once again give them this message from the Lord: When a person falls, he jumps up again; when he is on the wrong road and discovers his mistake, he goes back to the fork where he made the wrong turn. But these people keep on along their evil path, even though I warn them.
“Tell them this, God’s Message: “‘Do people fall down and not get up? Or take the wrong road and then just keep going? So why does this people go backward, and just keep on going—backward! They stubbornly hold on to their illusions, refuse to change direction. I listened carefully but heard not so much as a whisper. No one expressed one word of regret. Not a single “I’m sorry” did I hear. They just kept at it, blindly and stupidly banging their heads against a brick wall. Cranes know when it’s time to move south for winter. And robins, warblers, and bluebirds know when it’s time to come back again. But my people? My people know nothing, not the first thing of God and his rule.
Moreover you shall say to them, Thus says the Lord: Do men fall and not arise? Do they turn away and not repent?
“Say to them, ‘This is what Yahweh says: When someone falls, he gets back up. When someone turns away from me, he returns.
Tell them: Thus says the Lord: When someone falls, do they not rise again? if they turn away, do they not turn back?
“You shall say to them, ‘This is what the Lord says: “Do people fall and not get up? Does one turn away and not repent?
“You shall say to them, ‘Thus says the Lord, “Do men fall and not get up again? Does one turn away and not repent?
Then you are to say to them, Thus says the Lord: When someone falls, does he not stand up again? If people go astray, do they not turn back?
“Say to the people of Judah: ‘This is what the Lord says: When people fall down, don’t they get up again? And when someone goes the wrong way, doesn’t he turn back?
The Lord said to me, “Tell them, ‘The Lord says, Do people not get back up when they fall down? Do they not turn around when they go the wrong way?
“Jeremiah, tell them, ‘The Lord says, “ ‘ “When people fall down, don’t they get up again? When someone turns away, don’t they come back?
“Say to them, ‘This is what the Lord says: “‘When people fall down, do they not get up? When someone turns away, do they not return?
‘Say to them, “This is what the Lord says: ‘“When people fall down, do they not get up? When someone turns away, do they not return?
“Moreover you shall say to them, ‘Thus says the Lord: “Will they fall and not rise? Will one turn away and not return?
“You will say to them, ‘This is what the Lord says: “Do men fall and not get up again? Does one turn away and not return?
“Jeremiah, say to the people, ‘This is what the Lord says: “‘When people fall down, don’t they get up again? When they discover they’re on the wrong road, don’t they turn back?
You shall say to them, Thus says the Lord: When people fall, do they not get up again? If they go astray, do they not turn back?

Eternal One (to Jeremiah): Tell My people that these are My words: “When people stumble and fall, don’t they get up again? When people are lost, don’t they try to find their way back?
“Moreover you shall tell them, ‘Yahweh says: “‘Do men fall, and not rise up again? Does one turn away, and not return?
And thou shalt say to them, The Lord saith these things, Whether he that shall fall, shall not rise again? and whether he that is turned away, shall not turn again?
And thou hast said unto them: Thus said Jehovah, Do they fall, and not rise? Doth he turn back, and not return?
