At that time Merodachbaladan, the son of Baladan, king of Babylon, sent letters and a present to Hezekiah; for he had heard that he had been sick and had recovered.

Merodach Baladan, the son of Baladan, was now king of Babylonia. And when he learned that Hezekiah was well, he sent messengers with letters and a gift for him.
At that time Merodach-Baladan, the son of Baladan, king of Babylon, sent a letter and a present to Hezekiah; for he had heard that he had been sick and had recovered.

Hezekiah is reproved because he showed his treasures unto the ambassadors of Babylon. At the same time, Merodach Baladan, the son of Baladan, King of Babel, sent letters, and a present to Hezekiah: for he had heard that he had been sick, and was recovered.
