Other kings get a decent burial, honored with eulogies and placed in a tomb. But you’re dumped in a ditch unburied, like a stray dog or cat, Covered with rotting bodies, murdered and indigent corpses. Your dead body desecrated, mutilated— no state funeral for you! You’ve left your land in ruins, left a legacy of massacre. The progeny of your evil life will never be named. Oblivion!
You won’t be buried like other kings. That’s because you have destroyed your land. You have killed your people. “Let the children of that evil man be killed. Let none of them be left to carry on the family name.
Because you wrecked your own land and killed your own people, your corpse will not share in the honor of a proper burial. May the offspring of such evil never be mentioned again; don’t speak their names or hear their tales.
thou shalt not have fellowship, neither with them in sepulchre, for thou hast lost thy land, thou hast slain the people; the seed of the worst men shall not be called without end. (thou shalt not have fellowship with them in the tomb, or in the grave, for thou hast destroyed thy land, and thou hast killed thy own people; the children, or the descendants, of these evil people shall never be seen again.)
