Therefore, behold, I will allure her [Israel] and bring her into the wilderness, and I will speak tenderly and to her heart.
¶ Therefore, behold, I will allure her, and bring her into the wilderness, and speak comfortably unto her.
Therefore, I will charm her, and bring her into the desert, and speak tenderly to her heart.
I will ravage her vines and fig trees, of which she says, ‘These are my wages that my lovers have given me.’ But I will turn them into a forest, and wild animals will eat them.
Israel, I, the Lord, will lure you into the desert and speak gently to you.
Therefore behold, I will allure her, and bring her into the wilderness, and speak to her heart.
Therefore, behold I will allure her, and will lead her into the wilderness: and I will speak to her heart.
“So I, the Lord, will speak romantic words to her. I will lead her into the desert and speak tender words.
“Therefore, behold, I will allure her, and bring her into the wilderness, and speak tenderly to her.
“Therefore, behold, I will allure her, and bring her into the wilderness, and speak tenderly to her.
“So I am going to ·attract [allure; woo] her; I will lead her into the ·desert [wilderness; C as in the Exodus, when God rescued Israel from slavery and cared for her; Ex. 12–17] and speak tenderly to her.
Therefore behold, I will allure her, and bring her into the wilderness, and speak friendly unto her.
“That is why I’m going to win her back. I will lead her into the desert. I will speak tenderly to her.
So I am going to take her into the desert again; there I will win her back with words of love.
Therefore, I am going to persuade her, lead her to the wilderness, and speak tenderly to her.
“So I am going to attract her. I will lead her into the desert and speak tenderly to her.
“Therefore, look! I will now allure her. I will make her go out to the wilderness, and will speak to her heart.
¶ Therefore, behold, I will induce her and bring her into the wilderness and speak unto her heart.

“And now, here’s what I’m going to do: I’m going to start all over again. I’m taking her back out into the wilderness where we had our first date, and I’ll court her. I’ll give her bouquets of roses. I’ll turn Heartbreak Valley into Acres of Hope. She’ll respond like she did as a young girl, those days when she was fresh out of Egypt.
Therefore, I will allure her, and bring her into the wilderness, and speak tenderly to her.
“That is why I’m going to win her back. I will lead her into the desert. I will speak tenderly to her.
I will lay waste her vines and fig trees, of which she said, “These are the fees my lovers have given me”; I will turn them into rank growth and wild animals shall devour them.
“Therefore, behold, I will allure her, Bring her into the wilderness And speak kindly to her.
“So I am going to attract her; I will lead her into the desert and speak tenderly to her.
However, in the future I will allure her; I will lead her back into the wilderness, and speak tenderly to her.
“So now I am going to draw her back to me. I will lead her into the desert. There I will speak tenderly to her.

“Therefore, behold, I will allure her, Will bring her into the wilderness, And speak comfort to her.
“So I will lead her into the desert and speak words of comfort to her.
“But then I will win her back once again. I will lead her into the desert and speak tenderly to her there.
Therefore, I will now allure her, and bring her into the wilderness, and speak tenderly to her.
Therefore, I will now persuade her, and bring her into the wilderness, and speak tenderly to her.

But once she has nothing, I’ll be able to get through to her. I’ll entice her and lead her out into the wilderness where we can be alone, and I’ll speak right to her heart and try to win her back.
“Therefore behold, I will allure her, and bring her into the wilderness, and speak tenderly to her.
For this thing lo! I shall give milk to it, and I shall bring it into wilderness, and I shall speak to the heart thereof. (And then lo! I shall give her milk, and I shall bring her into the wilderness again, and I shall speak to her heart/and I shall speak words of love to her.)
Therefore, lo, I am enticing her, And have caused her to go to the wilderness, And I have spoken unto her heart,
