Hamor the father of Sh’khem went out to Ya‘akov to speak with him
Hamor arrived at Jacob's home
And Hamor the father of Shechem came out to Jacob, to speak to him.
And when Hemor the father of Sichem was come out to speak to Jacob,
Then Shechem’s father, Hamor, came out to talk with Jacob.
Shechem's father, Hamor, went to talk to Jacob about Dinah.
Hamor the father of Shechem came to talk with Jacob.

Then Hamor the father of Shechem went out to Jacob to speak with him.
And Hamor, father of Shechem, went out to Jacob to speak with him.
Meanwhile King Hamor, Shechem’s father, went to talk with Jacob, arriving just as Jacob’s sons came in from the fields, too shocked and angry to overlook the insult, for it was an outrage against all of them.
Jacob heard that Shechem had raped his daughter Dinah, but his sons were out in the fields with the livestock so he didn’t say anything until they got home. Hamor, Shechem’s father, went to Jacob to work out marriage arrangements. Meanwhile Jacob’s sons on their way back from the fields heard what had happened. They were outraged, explosive with anger. Shechem’s rape of Jacob’s daughter was intolerable in Israel and not to be put up with.
Hamor the father of Shechem went out to Jacob to commune with him.
So Shechem’s father Hamor came to Jacob to speak with him.
Now Hamor, the father of Shechem, went out to discuss the matter with Jacob,
Then Hamor the father of Shechem went out to Jacob to speak with him.

While he waited, Hamor father of Shechem went to talk with Jacob.
Then Shechem’s father Hamor went to speak with Jacob about Dinah.
