And Er, Judah’s firstborn, was wicked in the sight of the Lord; and the Lord slew him.
And Er, Judah's first-born, was wicked in the sight of Jehovah. And Jehovah slew him.
And Er, Judah’s firstborn, was wicked in the sight of the Lord, and the Lord slew him.

But the Lord considered Judah’s oldest son Er immoral, and the Lord put him to death.
But ‘Er, Y’hudah’s firstborn, was evil from Adonai’s perspective, so Adonai killed him.
But Er was very evil, and the Lord took his life.
And Er, Judah's firstborn, was wicked in the sight of Jehovah, and Jehovah slew him.
And Her, the firstborn of Juda, was wicked in the sight of the Lord: and was slain by him.
But Er did many bad things. The Lord was not happy with him, so the Lord killed him.
But Er, Judah's firstborn, was wicked in the sight of the Lord, and the Lord put him to death.
But Er, Judah's firstborn, was wicked in the sight of the Lord, and the Lord put him to death.
But Er, Judah’s ·oldest son [firstborn], did ·what the Lord said was evil [L evil in the eyes/sight of the Lord] so the Lord killed him.
Now Er the firstborn of Judah was wicked in the sight of the Lord: therefore the Lord slew him.
Er angered the Lord. So the Lord took away his life.
Er's conduct was evil, and it displeased the Lord, so the Lord killed him.
Now Er, Judah’s firstborn, was evil in the Lord’s sight, and the Lord put him to death.
Er was Judah’s oldest son. But he did what the Lord said was evil. So the Lord killed him.
But the Lord considered Er, Judah’s oldest son, to be wicked—so he put him to death.
And Er, Judah’s firstborn, was wicked in the sight of the LORD and the LORD slew him.

But Er was a wicked man, and so the Lord killed him.
Judah got a wife for Er, his firstborn. Her name was Tamar. But Judah’s firstborn, Er, grievously offended God and God took his life.
But Er, Judah’s firstborn, was wicked in the sight of the Lord, so the Lord killed him.
Er angered Yahweh. So Yahweh took away his life.
But Er, Judah’s firstborn, greatly offended the Lord; so the Lord took his life.
But Er, Judah’s firstborn, was evil in the sight of the Lord, so the Lord took his life.
But Er, Judah’s oldest son, did what the Lord said was evil, so the Lord killed him.
But Er, Judah’s firstborn, was evil in the Lord’s sight, so the Lord killed him.
But Judah’s oldest son Er was evil in the Lord’s eyes. So the Lord put him to death.
But Er, Judah’s firstborn, was wicked in the Lord’s sight; so the Lord put him to death.

But Er, Judah’s firstborn, was wicked in the sight of the Lord, and the Lord killed him.
But Er, Judah’s first-born, was sinful in the eyes of the Lord. So the Lord took his life.
But Er was a wicked man in the Lord’s sight, so the Lord took his life.
But Er, Judah’s firstborn, was wicked in the sight of the Lord, and the Lord put him to death.
But Er, Judah’s firstborn, was wicked in the sight of the Lord, and the Lord put him to death.
But Er, Judah’s firstborn, was wicked in the sight of the Lord, and the Lord put him to death.

And Er, bechor Yehudah, was rah in the eyes of Hashem; and Hashem slaughtered him.
But Er, Judah’s first-born, was wicked in the sight of the Lord; and the Lord slew him.
But Er, Judah’s first-born, was wicked in the sight of the Lord; and the Lord slew him.
But Er, Judah’s firstborn, was a particularly wretched human being in the eyes of the Eternal One, and so the Eternal ended his life. Judah summoned his second son, Onan.
Er, Judah’s firstborn, was wicked in Yahweh’s sight. Yahweh killed him.
And Er, the first begotten son of Judah, was wayward in the sight of the Lord, and therefore he was slain of the Lord (and so the Lord killed him).
and Er, Judah's first-born, is evil in the eyes of Jehovah, and Jehovah doth put him to death.
