And He hardened Pharaoh’s heart, that he hearkened not unto them, as the Lord had said.
And Pharaoh’s heart was hardened, and he hearkened not unto them; as Jehovah had spoken.

The king behaved just as the Lord had said and stubbornly refused to listen.
And Pharaoh's heart was stubborn, and he hearkened not to them, as Jehovah had said.
And Pharao's heart was hardened, and he did not hearken to them, as the Lord had commanded.
Pharaoh still refused to let the people go, just as the Lord had said. Pharaoh refused to listen to Moses and Aaron.
But Pharaoh's mind was hard and he refused to listen to Moses and Aaron. That was what the Lord had said would happen, and it did!
But Pharaoh’s heart was hard, and he did not listen to them, just as the Lord had said.

Yet, Pharaoh continued to be stubborn and would not listen to them, as the Lord had predicted.
The king, however, remained stubborn and, just as the Lord had said, the king would not listen to Moses and Aaron.
However, Pharaoh’s heart hardened, and he did not listen to them, as the Lord had said.
But the king was stubborn. He refused to listen to Moses and Aaron, just as the Lord had said.

Yet Pharaoh was as stubborn as ever—he wouldn’t listen to them, just as God had said.
Nonetheless, Pharaoh’s heart hardened so that he would not listen to them, just as the Lord had said.
Yet, Pharaoh continued to be stubborn and would not listen to them, as Yahweh had predicted.
Pharaoh, however, hardened his heart and would not listen to them, just as the Lord had foretold.
Yet Pharaoh’s heart was hardened, and he did not listen to them, just as the Lord had said.
