Then the king held out the golden scepter toward Esther. So Esther arose and stood before the king,

Then Esther again spoke to the king, falling at his feet, begging with tears to counter the evil of Haman the Agagite and revoke the plan that he had plotted against the Jews. The king extended his gold scepter to Esther. She got to her feet and stood before the king. She said, “If it please the king and he regards me with favor and thinks this is right, and if he has any affection for me at all, let an order be written that cancels the bulletins authorizing the plan of Haman son of Hammedatha the Agagite to annihilate the Jews in all the king’s provinces. How can I stand to see this catastrophe wipe out my people? How can I bear to stand by and watch the massacre of my own relatives?”
When the king held out the golden scepter to Esther, she rose and stood before the king,

The king stretched forth the golden scepter to Esther. So she rose and, standing before him,

Then HaMelech held out the sharvit hazahav (golden sceptre) toward Ester. So Ester arose, and stood before HaMelech,

Then the king extended the golden scepter to Esther, and she arose and stood before the king.
The king, as before, extended his golden scepter to Queen Esther; and she stood to her feet before him.
Then the king held out to Esther the golden scepter. So Esther arose, and stood before the king.
And the king by custom held forth the golden rod of the king with his hand, by which the token of his mercy was showed. And then Esther rose up, and stood before the king, (And, as by custom, the king held forth the king’s gold sceptre with his hand, by which the token of his mercy was shown. And then Esther rose up, and stood before the king,)
and the king holdeth out to Esther the golden sceptre, and Esther riseth, and standeth before the king,
