I considered all the living who walk under the sun, with the second child who shall stand up in his stead.
I saw all the living that walk under the sun, that they were with the youth, the second, that stood up in his stead.
I have seen all the living under the sun join with the second youth (the king’s acknowledged successor) who replaces him.
I saw all the living who walk under the sun with the youth who was to stand up in the king’s stead.
I considered all the living which walk under the sun, with the second child that shall stand up in his stead.
I saw all the living, who move about under the sun, follow a second youth who succeeds him.
I saw all who live and walk under the sun following the next youth who would rise to take his place.
I observed that all who live and walk under the sun took the side of the youth mentioned first who would rule in place of the king,
I once saw everyone in the world follow a young leader who came to power after the king was gone.
I saw all the living that walk under the sun, with the child, the second, that should stand up in his stead.
I saw all men living, that walk under the sun with the second young man, who shall rise up in his place.
But I have watched people in this life, and I know this: People will follow that young man. He will become the new king.
I thought about all the people who live on the earth. I realized that one of them would also become king one day. He would rule instead of the other young man who became king.
I saw that all the living, all those people walking under the sun, sided with the king’s successor, the child who took his place.
I saw all the living who move about under the sun, along with that youth who was to stand in the king's place.
I saw all the living who move about under the sun, along with that youth who was to stand in the king's place.
I ·watched [saw; observed] all the people who ·lived on earth [L walked under the sun; 1:3] follow ·him and make him their king [or the next youth who replaced the first youth/L him].
I beheld all the living, which walk under the Sun with the second child, which shall stand up in his place.
I saw all living people moving about under the sun. They sided with the second young man, the king’s successor.
I thought about all the people who live in this world, and I realized that somewhere among them there is a young man who will take the king's place.
I saw all the living, who move about under the sun, follow a second youth who succeeds him.
I watched some of the people who live on earth follow him. They made him their king.
I observed everyone who lives and walks on earth, along with the youth who will take the king’s place.
I saw all the living who are under the sun walking with the child, the successor that shall stand up in his stead.
I considered all the living which walk under the sun, with the second child that shall stand up in his stead.
I considered all the living which walk under the sun, with the second child that shall stand up in his stead.
I have seen all the living who walk about under the sun go along with the second lad who stands in place of him.
I saw all the living who move about under the sun with the youth; the second who will stand in his place.
Everyone is eager to help a youth like that, even to help him usurp the throne.
A poor child with some wisdom is better off than an old but foolish king who doesn’t know which end is up. I saw a youth just like this start with nothing and go from rags to riches, and I saw everyone rally to the rule of this young successor to the king. Even so, the excitement died quickly, the throngs of people soon lost interest. Can’t you see it’s only smoke? And spitting into the wind?
Then I saw all those who live and walk under the sun, along with the next youth who will arise in the king’s place.
I saw all living people moving about under the sun. They sided with the second young man, the king’s successor.
I saw all the living, those who move about under the sun, with the second youth who will succeed him.
I have seen all those living under the sun move to the side of the second youth who replaces him.
I have seen all the living under the sun throng to the side of the second lad who replaces him.
And I observed all those who live and move under the sun willingly give their support to that young man who succeeded the king.
I watched all the people who live on earth follow him and make him their king.
I considered all the living who walk on earth, as well as the successor who would arise in his place.
I saw that everyone was following the young man who had become the new king.
I saw that all who lived and walked under the sun followed the youth, the king’s successor.
I saw that all who lived and walked under the sun followed the youth, the king’s successor.
I saw all the living who walk under the sun; They were with the second youth who stands in his place.
I have seen all the living under the sun gather to the side of the boy who becomes king in his place.
But then everyone rushes to the side of yet another youth who replaces him.
I saw all the living who, moving about under the sun, follow that youth who replaced the king;
I saw all the living who, moving about under the sun, follow that youth who replaced the king;
I saw all the living who, moving about under the sun, follow that youth who replaced the king;
I saw all the living who, moving about under the sun, follow that youth who replaced the king;
I considered all the living ones which walk under the shemesh in the throng of the yeled, that is, the second one that shall enter into the place of the former [melech].
I saw all the living who move about under the sun, as well as that youth, who was to stand in his place;
I saw all the living who move about under the sun, as well as that youth, who was to stand in his place;
I considered all the living that walk under the sun as well as the next youth who stands in his place.
I saw all those who live out their lives under the sun flock to the side of a second youth who took the king’s place.
I saw all the living who walk under the sun, that they were with the youth, the other, who succeeded him.
I saw all men living that go under the sun, with the second young waxing man, that shall rise (up) for him. (I saw all the living who go under the sun, and yet for each, someone young shall rise up, and shall take their place.)
