Woe unto you that desire the day of the Lord! To what end is it for you? The day of the Lord is darkness, and not light:
Woe unto you that desire the day of Jehovah! Wherefore would ye have the day of Jehovah? It is darkness, and not light.
Woe (judgment is coming) to you who desire the day of the Lord [expecting rescue from the Gentiles]! Why would you want the day of the Lord? It is darkness (judgment) and not light [and rescue and prosperity];
Woe to you who desire the day of the Lord! Why would you want the day of the Lord? It is darkness and not light;
Woe unto you that desire the day of the Lord! to what end is it for you? the day of the Lord is darkness, and not light.
Woe to you who long for the day of the Lord! What will the day of the Lord be for you? It will be darkness and not light.
Doom to those who desire the day of the Lord! Why do you want the day of the Lord? It is darkness, not light;
Woe to you who want the Day of Adonai! Why do you want it, this Day of Adonai? It is darkness, not light;
You look forward to the day when the Lord comes to judge. But you are in for trouble! It won't be a time of sunshine; all will be darkness.
Woe unto you that desire the day of Jehovah! To what end is the day of Jehovah for you? It shall be darkness and not light:
Woe to them that desire the day of the Lord: to what end is it for you? the day of the Lord is darkness, and not light.
Some of you want to see the Lord’s special day of judgment. Why do you want to see that day of the Lord? His special day will bring darkness, not light.
You want the special day of the Lord to come. But it will be very bad for you! You think that God will punish your enemies on that day. But that day will not bring light to you, it will bring darkness.
Woe to those who long for the Day of the Lord! What good will the Day of the Lord be for you? It will be darkness and not light.
Woe to you who desire the day of the Lord! Why would you have the day of the Lord? It is darkness, and not light,
Woe to you who desire the day of the Lord! Why would you have the day of the Lord? It is darkness, and not light,
·How terrible it will be for [L Woe to] you who want the ·Lord’s day of judging [L day of the Lord] to come. Why do you want that day to come? It will bring darkness for you, not light.
Woe unto you, that desire the day of the Lord: what have you to do with it? the day of the Lord is darkness and not light,
How horrible it will be for those who long for the day of the Lord! Why do you long for that day? The day of the Lord is one of darkness and not light.
How terrible it will be for you who long for the day of the Lord! What good will that day do you? For you it will be a day of darkness and not of light.
Woe to you who long for the Day of the Lord! What will the Day of the Lord be for you? It will be darkness and not light.
How terrible it will be for you who want the Lord’s day of judging to come. Why do you want that day to come? It will bring darkness for you, not light.
“Woe to those who are craving the Day of the Lord! How is it to your benefit, this Day of the Lord? It’s a day of darkness to you, and not light.
Woe unto you that desire the day of the LORD! to what end is it for you? the day of the LORD shall be darkness, and not light.
Woe unto you that desire the day of the Lord! to what end is it for you? the day of the Lord is darkness, and not light.

Woe, you who are longing for the day of Yahweh, For what purpose will the day of Yahweh be to you? It will be darkness and not light;
Alas, those who desire the day of Yahweh, why is this for you the day of Yahweh? It will be darkness and not light!
You say, ‘If only the Day of the Lord were here, for then God would deliver us from all our foes.’ But you have no idea what you ask. For that day will not be light and prosperity, but darkness and doom! How terrible the darkness will be for you; not a ray of joy or hope will shine.
Woe to all of you who want God’s Judgment Day! Why would you want to see God, want him to come? When God comes, it will be bad news before it’s good news, the worst of times, not the best of times. Here’s what it’s like: A man runs from a lion right into the jaws of a bear. A woman goes home after a hard day’s work and is raped by a neighbor. At God’s coming we face hard reality, not fantasy— a black cloud with no silver lining.

How horrible it will be for those who long for the day of Yahweh! Why do you long for that day? The day of Yahweh is one of darkness and not light.
Woe to those who yearn for the day of the Lord! What will the day of the Lord mean for you? It will be darkness, not light!
Woe to you who are longing for the day of the Lord, For what purpose will the day of the Lord be to you? It will be darkness and not light;
Alas, you who are longing for the day of the Lord, For what purpose will the day of the Lord be to you? It will be darkness and not light;
Woe to those who long for the day of the Lord. What will this day of the Lord mean to you? It will mean darkness, not light,
How terrible it will be for you who want the Lord’s day of judging to come. Why do you want that day to come? It will bring darkness for you, not light.
Woe to those who wish for the day of the Lord! Why do you want the Lord’s day of judgment to come? It will bring darkness, not light.
How terrible it will be for you who long for the day of the Lord! Why do you want it to come? That day will be dark, not light.
Woe to you who long for the day of the Lord! Why do you long for the day of the Lord? That day will be darkness, not light.

Woe to you who desire the day of the Lord! For what good is the day of the Lord to you? It will be darkness, and not light.
It is bad for you who want the day of the Lord to come. For what will the day of the Lord be to you? It will be darkness and not light.
What sorrow awaits you who say, “If only the day of the Lord were here!” You have no idea what you are wishing for. That day will bring darkness, not light.
Alas for you who desire the day of the Lord! Why do you want the day of the Lord? It is darkness, not light;

Hoy unto you that desire the Yom Hashem! Why do ye seek it? The Yom Hashem is choshech, and not ohr.
Woe to you who desire the day of the Lord! Why would you have the day of the Lord? It is darkness, and not light;
Woe to you who desire the day of the Lord! Why would you have the day of the Lord? It is darkness, and not light;
Oy to you—longing for the Day of Adonai! What would it be for you? The Day of Adonai will be darkness and not light.
How horrible for you who look forward to the day of the Eternal One! Why do you want it to come? For you, its arrival will mean darkness, not light.
