“With the merciful Thou wilt show Thyself merciful, and with the upright man Thou wilt show Thyself upright.
With the merciful thou wilt show thyself merciful; With the perfect man thou wilt show thyself perfect;
“With the loving and loyal You show Yourself loving and loyal, With the blameless You show Yourself blameless.
Toward the loving and loyal You will show Yourself loving and loyal, and with the upright and blameless You will show Yourself upright and blameless.
With the merciful thou wilt shew thyself merciful, and with the upright man thou wilt shew thyself upright.
With the faithful you prove yourself faithful, with the blameless you prove yourself blameless,
You deal faithfully with the faithful; you show integrity toward the one who has integrity.
With the merciful, you are merciful; with the champion of purity, you are pure;
You are always loyal to your loyal people, and you are faithful to the faithful.
With the gracious thou dost shew thyself gracious; With the upright man thou dost shew thyself upright;
With the holy one thou wilt be holy: and with the valiant perfect.
Lord, you are faithful to those who are faithful. You are good to those who are good.
Lord, if people are faithful to you, then you are faithful to them. If people do nothing that is bad, they can trust you to do nothing bad to them.
To the merciful you reveal yourself as merciful. To the blameless person you reveal yourself as blameless.
“With the merciful you show yourself merciful; with the blameless man you show yourself blameless;
“With the merciful you show yourself merciful; with the blameless man you show yourself blameless;
“Lord, you ·are [show yourself] ·loyal [faithful; kind] to those who are loyal [faithful; kind], and you are good to those who are good.
With the godly thou wilt show thyself godly: with the upright man thou wilt show thyself upright.
⌞In dealing⌟ with faithful people you are faithful, with innocent warriors you are innocent,
O Lord, you are faithful to those who are faithful to you, and completely good to those who are perfect.
With the faithful You prove Yourself faithful; with the blameless man You prove Yourself blameless;
“Lord, you are loyal to those who are loyal. You are good to those who are good.
In the company of the gracious you demonstrate your gracious love. In the company of the blamelessly valiant you demonstrate your blamelessness.
With the merciful thou art good, and with the perfect thou art upright.
With the merciful thou wilt shew thyself merciful, and with the upright man thou wilt shew thyself upright.
With the merciful thou wilt shew thyself merciful, and with the upright man thou wilt shew thyself upright.
With the kind You show Yourself kind, With the blameless You show Yourself blameless;
With the loyal, you act as loyal, and with the blameless, you show yourself blameless.
You are merciful to the merciful; You show your perfections To the blameless.
You stick by people who stick with you, you’re straight with people who’re straight with you, You’re good to good people, you shrewdly work around the bad ones. You take the side of the down-and-out, but the stuck-up you take down a peg.
With the faithful You prove Yourself faithful; with the blameless You prove Yourself blameless;

With the chasid (loyal, the one having chesed, the devout one) Thou wilt show Thyself loyal, and with the Gibbor tamim (blameless man) Thou wilt show Thyself blameless.

With the loyal You deal loyally. With the blameless You are blameless.

With the holy thou shalt be holy, and with the strong, that is, to suffer adversities patiently, thou shalt be perfect; (With the holy thou shalt be holy, and with the upright, thou shalt be upright;)
