And Hazael said, “But what, is thy servant a dog, that he should do this great thing?” And Elisha answered, “The Lord hath shown me that thou shalt be king over Syria.”
And Hazael said, But what is thy servant, who is but a dog, that he should do this great thing? And Elisha answered, Jehovah hath showed me that thou shalt be king over Syria.
Then Hazael said, “Surely not! For what is your servant, who is nothing more than a dog, that he would do this monstrous thing?” And Elisha answered, “The Lord has shown me that you will be king over Aram.”
And Hazael said, What is your servant, only a dog, that he should do this monstrous thing? And Elisha answered, The Lord has shown me that you will be king over Syria.
And Hazael said, But what, is thy servant a dog, that he should do this great thing? And Elisha answered, The Lord hath shewed me that thou shalt be king over Syria.
Hazael said, “How could your servant, a mere dog, do such a mighty deed?” Elisha answered, “The Lord has shown me that you will be king over Aram.”
Hazael replied, “How could your servant, who is nothing but a dog, do such mighty things?” Elisha said, “The Lord has shown me that you will be king over Aram.”
Haza’el said, “But what is your servant? Nothing but a dog! How could he do anything of such magnitude?” Elisha answered, “Adonai has shown me that you will be king over Aram.”
“How could I ever do anything like that?” Hazael replied. “I'm only a servant and don't have that kind of power.” “Hazael, the Lord has told me that you will be the next king of Syria.”
And Hazael said, But what, is thy servant a dog, that he should do this great thing? And Elisha said, Jehovah has shewn me that thou wilt be king over Syria.
And Hazael said: But what am I thy servant a dog, that I should do this great thing? And Eliseus said: The Lord hath shewn me that thou shalt be king of Syria.
Hazael said, “I am not a powerful man! How can I do these great things?” Elisha answered, “The Lord showed me that you will be king over Aram.”
Hazael said, ‘I am only an ordinary man, sir. I am not more important than a dog! How could I ever do great things like that?’ Elisha answered, ‘The Lord has shown me that you will become the king of Syria.’
Then Hazael said, “But what is your servant, a mere dog, that he could do such a great thing?” Then Elisha said, “The Lord has shown me that you will be king over Aram.”
And Hazael said, “What is your servant, who is but a dog, that he should do this great thing?” Elisha answered, “The Lord has shown me that you are to be king over Syria.”
And Hazael said, “What is your servant, who is but a dog, that he should do this great thing?” Elisha answered, “The Lord has shown me that you are to be king over Syria.”
Hazael said, “·Am I a dog? How could I [or How could I, a mere dog,] ·do such things [or accomplish such great things]?” Elisha answered, “The Lord has shown me that you will be king over Aram.”
Then Hazael said, What? is thy servant a dog, that I should do this great thing? And Elisha answered, The Lord hath showed me, that thou shalt be King of Aram.
But Hazael asked, “How can a dog like me do such a significant thing?” Elisha answered, “The Lord has shown me that you will become king of Aram.”
“How could I ever be that powerful?” Hazael asked. “I'm a nobody!” “The Lord has shown me that you will be king of Syria,” Elisha replied.
Hazael said, “How could your servant, a mere dog, do this monstrous thing?” Elisha answered, “The Lord has shown me that you will be king over Aram.”
Hazael said, “I, your servant, am only a dog. How could I do such things?” Elisha answered, “The Lord has shown me that you will be king over Aram.”
But Hazael responded, “What? Who am I, your servant, that I should do such a horrible thing?” But Elisha answered, “The Lord has shown me that you will be king over Aram.”
And Hazael said, But what, is thy slave a dog, that he should do this great thing? And Elisha answered, The LORD has showed me that thou shalt be king over Syria.
And Hazael said, But what, is thy servant a dog, that he should do this great thing? And Elisha answered, The Lord hath shewed me that thou shalt be king over Syria.
And Hazael said, But what, is thy servant a dog, that he should do this great thing? And Elisha answered, The Lord hath shewed me that thou shalt be king over Syria.
Then Hazael said, “But what is your servant, who is but a dog, that he should do this great thing?” And Elisha answered, “Yahweh has shown me that you will be king over Aram.”
Then Hazael said, “But how could your servant, who is like a dog, do this great thing?” Elisha said, “Yahweh has shown me that you are to be king over Aram.”
“Am I a dog?” Hazael asked him. “I would never do that sort of thing.” But Elisha replied, “The Lord has shown me that you are going to be the king of Syria.”
Hazael said, “Am I a mongrel dog that I’d do such a horrible thing?” “God showed me,” said Elisha, “that you’ll be king of Aram.”
Hazael said, “What? Is your servant a dog that he should do this great thing?” And Elisha said, “The Lord has shown me that you will be king over Aram.”
But Hazael asked, “How can a dog like me do such a significant thing?” Elisha answered, “Yahweh has shown me that you will become king of Aram.”
Hazael exclaimed, “How can your servant, a dog like me, do anything so important?” Elisha replied, “The Lord has showed you to me as king over Aram.”
Then Hazael said, “But what is your servant—a lowly dog—that he could do this great thing?” And Elisha answered, “The Lord has shown me that you will be king over Aram.”
Then Hazael said, “But what is your servant, who is but a dog, that he should do this great thing?” And Elisha answered, “The Lord has shown me that you will be king over Aram.”
Hazael said, “But how could your servant, who is nothing more than a dog, do such a great thing?” Elisha answered, “The Lord has revealed to me that you will be the king of Aram.”
Hazael said, “Am I a dog? How could I do such things?” Elisha answered, “The Lord has shown me that you will be king over Aram.”
Hazael said, “How could your servant, who is as insignificant as a dog, accomplish this great military victory?” Elisha answered, “The Lord has revealed to me that you will be the king of Syria.”
Hazael said, “How could I possibly do a thing like that? I’m nothing but a dog. I don’t have that kind of power.” “You will become king of Aram,” Elisha answered. “That’s what the Lord has shown me.”
Hazael said, “How could your servant, a mere dog, accomplish such a feat?” “The Lord has shown me that you will become king of Aram,” answered Elisha.
Hazael said, ‘How could your servant, a mere dog, accomplish such a feat?’ ‘The Lord has shown me that you will become king of Aram,’ answered Elisha.
So Hazael said, “But what is your servant—a dog, that he should do this gross thing?” And Elisha answered, “The Lord has shown me that you will become king over Syria.”
Hazael said, “What is your servant, only a dog, that he should do this bad thing?” Elisha answered, “The Lord has shown me that you will be the king of Syria.”
Hazael responded, “How could a nobody like me ever accomplish such great things?” Elisha answered, “The Lord has shown me that you are going to be the king of Aram.”
Hazael said, ‘What is your servant, who is a mere dog, that he should do this great thing?’ Elisha answered, ‘The Lord has shown me that you are to be king over Aram.’
Hazael said, ‘What is your servant, who is a mere dog, that he should do this great thing?’ Elisha answered, ‘The Lord has shown me that you are to be king over Aram.’

Hazael said, “What is your servant, who is a mere dog, that he should do this great thing?” Elisha answered, “The Lord has shown me that you are to be king over Aram.”
And Chazael said, But what, is thy eved a kelev (dog), that he should do this davar hagadol (great thing)? And Elishah answered, Hashem hath showed me that thou shalt be Melech over Aram (Syria).
And Haz′ael said, “What is your servant, who is but a dog, that he should do this great thing?” Eli′sha answered, “The Lord has shown me that you are to be king over Syria.”
And Haz′ael said, “What is your servant, who is but a dog, that he should do this great thing?” Eli′sha answered, “The Lord has shown me that you are to be king over Syria.”
Then Hazael said, “But what is your servant, who is but a dog, that he should do anything of such magnitude?” Elisha answered, “Adonai has shown me that you will be king over Aram.”
Hazael: But I have no such will or power. Am I, your servant, as low as a dog? Why do you think that I will do such a terrible thing? Elisha: The Eternal has revealed to me that you will reign over Aram as king.
Hazael said, “But what is your servant, who is but a dog, that he could do this great thing?” Elisha answered, “Yahweh has shown me that you will be king over Syria.”
And Hazael said, What soothly am I, thy servant, a dog, that I do this great thing? (And Hazael said, Truly what am I, thy servant, nothing but a dog? for how can I do such a great thing?) And Elisha said, The Lord hath showed to me that thou shalt be king of Syria.
And Hazael saith, `But what, [is] thy servant the dog, that he doth this great thing?' And Elisha saith, `Jehovah hath shewed me thee -- king of Aram.'
