Jonathan’s bow never retreated, Saul’s sword never returned unstained, from the blood of the slain, from the flesh of the mighty.
Jonathan’s bow never wavered from the blood of the slain, from the gore of the warriors. Never did Saul’s sword return empty.
“From the blood of the dead, from the flesh of heroes, the bow of Y’honatan did not retreat or the sword of Sha’ul return unsatisfied.
The arrows of Jonathan struck, and warriors died. The sword of Saul cut the enemy apart.
From the blood of the slain, from the fat of the mighty, The bow of Jonathan turned not back, And the sword of Saul returned not empty.
From the blood of the slain, from the fat of the valiant, the arrow of Jonathan never turned back, and the sword of Saul did not return empty.
Jonathan’s bow killed its share of enemies, and Saul’s sword killed its share! They have spilled the blood of men now dead. They cut into the fat of strong men.
When Jonathan shot arrows from his bow, his enemies fell to the ground, dead. He would never turn away from them. Saul's sword also cut down his enemies. He always finished the job.
From the blood of the slain, from the fat of the mighty warriors, the bow of Jonathan did not turn back, and the sword of Saul never returned empty.
“From the blood of the slain, from the fat of the mighty, the bow of Jonathan turned not back, and the sword of Saul returned not empty.
“From the blood of the slain, from the fat of the mighty, the bow of Jonathan turned not back, and the sword of Saul returned not empty.
Jonathan’s bow did not ·fail [turn back] ·to kill many soldiers [L from shedding the blood of the slain]. Saul’s sword did not ·fail [return empty] ·to wound many strong men [L from the fat/bodies of the mighty].
The bow of Jonathan never turned back, neither did the sword of Saul return empty from the blood of the slain, and from the fat of the mighty.
From the blood of those killed and the fat of the warriors, Jonathan’s bow did not turn away, nor did Saul’s sword return unused.
Jonathan's bow was deadly, the sword of Saul was merciless, striking down the mighty, killing the enemy.
Jonathan’s bow never retreated, Saul’s sword never returned unstained, from the blood of the slain, from the bodies of the mighty.
Jonathan’s bow killed its share of enemies. And Saul’s sword killed its share, too. Their weapons are stained with the blood of dead men. Their weapons have stabbed the flesh of strong men.
From the blood of the slain, from the blood of the valiant, Jonathan’s bow would not retreat nor would Saul’s sword return empty.
Without the blood of the slain, without the fat of the mighty, the bow of Jonathan never turned back, and the sword of Saul never returned empty.
From the blood of the slain, from the fat of the mighty, the bow of Jonathan turned not back, and the sword of Saul returned not empty.
From the blood of the slain, from the fat of the mighty, the bow of Jonathan turned not back, and the sword of Saul returned not empty.
From the blood of the slain, from the fat of the mighty, The bow of Jonathan did not turn back, And the sword of Saul did not return empty.
From the blood of the slain, from the fat of the mighty, the bow of Jonathan did not turn back, and the sword of Saul did not return without effect.
Both Saul and Jonathan slew their strongest foes, And did not return from battle empty-handed.
Jonathan’s bow was bold— the bigger they were the harder they fell. Saul’s sword was fearless— once out of the scabbard, nothing could stop it.
From the blood of the slain, from the fat of mighty, the bow of Jonathan did not turn back, nor did the sword of Saul return empty.
From the blood of those killed and the fat of the warriors, Jonathan’s bow did not turn away, nor did Saul’s sword return unused.
From the blood of the slain, from the bodies of the warriors, The bow of Jonathan did not turn back, nor the sword of Saul return unstained.
From the blood of those slaughtered, from the fat of the mighty, The bow of Jonathan did not turn back, And the sword of Saul did not return unstained.

Jonathan’s bow did not fail to kill many soldiers. Saul’s sword did not fail to wound many strong men.
From the blood of the slain, from the fat of warriors, the bow of Jonathan was not turned away. The sword of Saul never returned empty.
The bow of Jonathan didn’t turn back. The sword of Saul didn’t return without being satisfied. They spilled the blood of their enemies. They killed mighty men.
“From the blood of the slain, from the flesh of the mighty, the bow of Jonathan did not turn back, the sword of Saul did not return unsatisfied.

The bow of Jonathan did not turn away. The sword of Saul did not return empty. They did not turn from the blood of the dead and the fat of the powerful.
The bow of Jonathan was powerful, and the sword of Saul did its mighty work. They shed the blood of their enemies and pierced the bodies of mighty heroes.
From the blood of the slain, from the fat of the mighty, the bow of Jonathan did not turn back, nor the sword of Saul return empty.
From the blood of the slain, from the fat of the mighty, the bow of Jonathan did not turn back, nor the sword of Saul return empty.
