And Joab sent messengers to David and said, “I have fought against Rabbah and have taken from the city its waters.

Yo’av sent people to David with this message: “I have fought against Rabbah and captured its water supply.
and sent a messenger to tell David: I have attacked Rabbah and captured the fortress guarding the city water supply.
And Joab sent messengers to David, and said, I have fought against Rabbah, and have taken the city of waters.
And Joab sent messengers to David, saying: I have fought against Rabbath, and the city of waters is about to be taken.
Joab sent messengers to David and said, “I have fought against Rabbah and have captured its water supply.
Joab sent men to take this message to David: ‘I have attacked Rabbah. Now I have taken the place that holds the city's water.
He sent messengers to David and said, “I have fought against Rabbah. I have also captured the city’s water supply.
And Joab sent messengers to David and said, “I have fought against Rabbah; moreover, I have taken the city of waters.
And Joab sent messengers to David and said, “I have fought against Rabbah; moreover, I have taken the city of waters.
Joab sent messengers to David and said, “I have fought against Rabbah and have captured ·its water supply [or the City of Waters].
Therefore Joab sent messengers to David, saying, I have fought against Rabbah, and have taken the city of waters.
So he sent messengers to tell David, “I fought against Rabbah and captured the fortress guarding its water supply.
He sent messengers to David to report: “I have attacked Rabbah and have captured its water supply.
Then Joab sent messengers to David to say, “I have fought against Rabbah and have also captured the water supply.
Joab sent messengers to David and said, “I have fought against Rabbah. I have captured its water supply.
Then Joab sent messengers to David to tell him, “I just attacked Rabbah and captured its municipal water supply,
Then Joab sent messengers to David and said, I have fought against Rabbah and have taken the city of waters.
And Joab sent messengers to David, and said, I have fought against Rabbah, and have taken the city of waters.
And Joab sent messengers to David, and said, I have fought against Rabbah, and have taken the city of waters.

Then Joab sent messengers to David and said, “We have fought against Rabbah, and we captured the city of the waters.
Meanwhile Joab and the Israeli army were successfully ending their siege of Rabbah the capital of Ammon. Joab sent messengers to tell David, “Rabbah and its beautiful harbor are ours!
Joab, at war in Rabbah against the Ammonites, captured the royal city. He sent messengers to David saying, “I’m fighting at Rabbah, and I’ve just captured the city’s water supply. Hurry and get the rest of the troops together and set up camp here at the city and complete the capture yourself. Otherwise, I’ll capture it and get all the credit instead of you.” So David marshaled all the troops, went to Rabbah, and fought and captured it. He took the crown from their king’s head—very heavy with gold, and with a precious stone in it. It ended up on David’s head. And they plundered the city, carrying off a great quantity of loot.
So Joab sent messengers to David and reported, “I have fought against Rabbah, and I have occupied the water supply of the city.
So he sent messengers to tell David, “I fought against Rabbah and captured the fortress guarding its water supply.
He sent messengers to David to say: “I have fought against Rabbah and have taken the water-city.
Then Joab sent messengers to David and said, “I have fought against Rabbah, I have even captured the city of waters.

He sent messengers with word of the imminent victory to David. Joab: I have fought against Rabbah and captured its water supply. The city is almost ours.
Joab sent messengers to David, and said, “I have fought against Rabbah. Yes, I have taken the city of waters.
And Joab sent messengers to David, and said, I have fought against Rabbah, and the city of waters shall be taken (and I have taken the city’s water supply).
