And when his armorbearer saw that Saul was dead, he fell likewise on the sword and died.
And when his armorbearer saw that Saul was dead, he likewise fell upon his sword, and died.

When the helper saw that Saul was dead, he also fell on his own sword and died.
The young man saw that Saul was dead. So he threw himself onto his own sword and he died too.

Then his bodyguard, seeing that Saul was dead, killed himself in the same way.
The Philistines went to war against Israel; the Israelites ran for their lives from the Philistines but fell, slaughtered on Mount Gilboa. The Philistines zeroed in on Saul and his sons and killed his sons Jonathan, Abinadab, and Malki-Shua. The battle went hard against Saul—the archers found him and wounded him. Saul said to his armor bearer, “Draw your sword and finish me off before these pagan pigs get to me and make a sport of my body.” But his armor bearer, restrained by both reverence and fear, wouldn’t do it. So Saul took his own sword and killed himself. The armor bearer, panicked because Saul was dead, then killed himself.
When the armor bearer saw that Saul was dead, he too fell on his sword and died.

And when his squire had seen this, that is, that Saul was dead, he felled also on his sword, and was dead.
and the bearer of his weapons seeth that Saul [is] dead, and falleth, he also, on the sword, and dieth;
