And it came to pass, after he had eaten bread and after he had drunk, that he saddled for him the ass, to wit, for the prophet whom he had brought back.

After the meal the old prophet got a donkey ready,
And it came to pass, after he had eaten bread, and after he had drunk, that he saddled the ass for him, for the prophet that he had brought back;
And when he had eaten and drunk, he saddled his ass for the prophet, whom he had brought back.
The man of God finished eating and drinking. Then the old prophet saddled the man’s donkey for him and the man left.
God's servant from Judah finished his meal. Then the old prophet prepared his donkey for him to ride.
Then after he ate and drank, the old prophet saddled the donkey for the prophet whom he had brought back.
And after he had eaten bread and drunk, he saddled the donkey for the prophet whom he had brought back.

After the man of God finished eating [L bread] and drinking, the prophet put a saddle on his donkey [C possibly the old prophet’s own donkey] for him, and the man left.
¶ And when he had eaten bread and drunk, he saddled him the ass, to wit, to the Prophet whom he had brought again,
After the old prophet had something to eat and drink, he saddled the donkey for the prophet whom he had brought back.
After they had finished eating, the old prophet saddled the donkey for the prophet from Judah,
So after he had eaten bread and after he had drunk, the old prophet saddled the donkey for the prophet he had brought back.
The man of God finished eating. Then the prophet put a saddle on his donkey for him. And the man left.
After the meal was over, and the man had eaten food and had drunk water, the old prophet saddled the donkey for him—that is, for the man of God whom he had brought back.
¶ And when he had eaten of the bread and after he had drunk, the prophet that had brought him back saddled an ass for him,

After finishing the meal, the old man saddled the prophet’s donkey,
When the meal was over, the prophet who had brought him back saddled his donkey for him. Down the road a way, a lion met him and killed him. His corpse lay crumpled on the road, the lion on one side and the donkey on the other. Some passersby saw the corpse in a heap on the road, with the lion standing guard beside it. They went to the village where the old prophet lived and told what they had seen.

After the man of God had eaten food and had drunk, they saddled for him a donkey belonging to the prophet who had brought him back.

After having a sobering meal and some water, the prophet prepared his donkey for the man of God.
After he had eaten bread, and after he drank, he saddled the donkey for the prophet whom he had brought back.
And when he had eaten and drunk, the prophet, whom he had brought again, saddled his ass (the prophet, whom he had brought back, saddled up his donkey).
And it cometh to pass, after his eating bread, and after his drinking, that he saddleth for him the ass, for the prophet whom he had brought back,
