1 Samuel 18:9
And Saul eyed David from that day and forward.
And Saul eyed David from that day and forward.
Saul looked at David with suspicion [and jealously] from that day forward.
And Saul [jealously] eyed David from that day forward.
And Saul eyed David from that day and forward.
So Saul kept a close eye on David from that point on.
From that day on, Sha’ul viewed David with suspicion.
Saul never again trusted David.
And Saul eyed David from that day and forward.
And Saul did not look on David with a good eye from that day and forward.
So from that time on, Saul watched David very closely.
And Saul eyed David from that day on.
And Saul kept an eye on David from that day on.
So Saul watched David closely from then on, because he was jealous.
Wherefore Saul had an eye on David from that day forward.
From that day on Saul kept an eye on David.
And so he was jealous and suspicious of David from that day on.
So Saul watched David jealously from that day forward.
So Saul watched David closely from then on. He was jealous of him.
From then on Saul kept his eye on David.
And Saul eyed David from that day and forward.
And Saul eyed David from that day and forward.
And Saul eyed David from that day and forward.
So Saul was watching David with suspicion from that day onward.
So from that time on King Saul kept a jealous watch on David.
As they returned home, after David had killed the Philistine, the women poured out of all the villages of Israel singing and dancing, welcoming King Saul with tambourines, festive songs, and lutes. In playful frolic the women sang, Saul kills by the thousand, David by the ten thousand! This made Saul angry—very angry. He took it as a personal insult. He said, “They credit David with ‘ten thousands’ and me with only ‘thousands.’ Before you know it they’ll be giving him the kingdom!” From that moment on, Saul kept his eye on David.
So Saul was suspicious of David from that day and forward.
From that day on Saul kept an eye on David.
From that day on, Saul kept a jealous eye on David.
Saul looked at David with suspicion from that day on.
So Saul watched David closely from then on, because he was jealous.
So Saul was keeping an eye on David from that day onward.
From that time on, Saul watched David closely.
And from that time on Saul kept a close eye on David.
And from that time on Saul kept a close eye on David.
So Saul eyed David from that day forward.
And Saul was jealous and did not trust David from that day on.
So from that time on Saul kept a jealous eye on David.
So Saul eyed David from that day on.
So Saul eyed David from that day on.
So Saul eyed David from that day on.
So Saul eyed David from that day on.
And there was jealous suspicion in the way Sha’ul eyed Dovid from that day forward.
And Saul eyed David from that day on.
And Saul eyed David from that day on.
So Saul eyed David from that day on.
From that moment on, Saul was suspicious of David.
Saul watched David from that day and forward.
Therefore Saul beheld David not with rightful eye, from that day and afterward. (And so from that day on, Saul did not look kindly upon David.)
and Saul is eyeing David from that day and thenceforth.
