And he turned from him toward another and spoke in the same manner; and the people answered him again in the former manner.
And he turned away from him toward another, and spake after the same manner: and the people answered him again after the former manner.
Then David turned away from Eliab to someone else and asked the same question; and the people gave him the same answer as the first time.

“What is it with you?” replied David. “All I did was ask a question.” Ignoring his brother, he turned to someone else, asked the same question, and got the same answer as before.
And he turned from him toward another and spoke in the same way. And the people answered him again as at the first.

Then he turned away to speak to some other men. He asked them the same question he had asked before. And they gave him the same answer.
He then turned away to someone else and brought up the same matter, and the men answered him as before.

And he turneth round from him unto another, and saith according to this word, and the people return him word as the first word.
