^9 [a]Yahweh also will be a ^(A)stronghold for the oppressed,
A stronghold in times of ^[b]distress;

¹⁰ And ^[c]those who ^(B)know Your name will put their trust in You,
For You, O Yahweh, have not ^(C)forsaken those who seek You.

¹¹ Sing praises to Yahweh, who ^(D)abides in Zion;
^(E)Declare among the peoples His acts.
¹² For ^(F)He who ^[d]requires blood remembers them;
He does not forget ^(G)the cry of the afflicted.

¹³ Be gracious to me, O Yahweh;
See my affliction from those ^(H)who hate me,
You who ^(I)lift me up from the gates of death,
¹⁴ That I may recount ^(J)all Your praises,
That in the gates of the daughter of Zion
I may ^(K)rejoice in Your ^[e]salvation.

¹⁵ The nations have sunk down ^(L)in the pit which they have made;
In the ^(M)net which they hid, their own foot has been caught.
¹⁶ Yahweh has ^(N)made Himself known;
He has ^(O)executed judgment.
In the work of his own hands the wicked is snared. ^[f]Higgaion ^[g]Selah.

¹⁷ The wicked will ^[h](P)return to Sheol,
Even all the nations who ^(Q)forget God.

¹⁸ For the ^(R)needy will not always be forgotten,
Nor the ^(S)hope of the afflicted perish forever.
^19 (T)Arise, O Yahweh, do not let man prevail;
Let the nations be ^(U)judged before You.
²⁰ Put them ^(V)in fear, O Yahweh;
Let the nations know that they are ^(W)but men. Selah.
