Revised Common Lectionary (Semicontinuous)
34 [a]Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive, that (A)[b]God is no [respecter] of persons.
35 But in every nation he that [c]feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him.
36 Ye [d]know the word which God hath sent to the children of Israel, preaching peace by Jesus Christ, which is Lord of all:
37 [e]Even the word which came through all Judea, (B)beginning in Galilee, after the Baptism which John preached:
38 To wit, how God [f]anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the holy Ghost, and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil: for God was with him.
39 And we are witnesses of all things which he did both in the land of the Jews, and in Jerusalem, whom they slew, hanging him on a tree.
40 Him God raised up the third day, and caused that he was showed openly:
41 Not to all the people, but unto the witnesses [g]chosen before of God, even to us which did eat and drink with him, after he arose from the dead.
42 And he commanded us to preach unto the people, and to testify, that it is he that is ordained of God a judge of quick and dead.
43 To him also give all the (C)Prophets witness, that through his Name all that believe in him, shall receive remission of sins.
6 And in this [a]mountain shall the Lord of hosts make unto all people a feast of fat things, even a feast of fined wines, and of fat things full of marrow, of wines fined and purified.
7 And he will destroy in this mountain [b]the covering that covereth all people, and the veil that is spread upon all nations.
8 He will destroy death forever: and the Lord God will [c]wipe away the tears from all faces, and the rebuke of his people will he take away out of all the earth: for the Lord hath spoken it.
9 And in that day shall men say, Lo, this is our God: we have waited for him, and he will save us. This is the Lord, we have waited for him, we will rejoice and be joyful in salvation.
118 1 David rejected of Saul and of the people at the time appointed obtained the kingdom. 4 For the which he biddeth all them, that fear the Lord, to be thankful. And under his person in all this was Christ lively set forth, who should be of his people rejected.
1 Praise [a]ye the Lord, because he is good: for his mercy endureth forever.
2 Let Israel now say, That his mercy endureth forever.
14 The Lord is my strength and [a]song: for he hath been my deliverance.
15 The [b]voice of joy and deliverance shall be in the tabernacles of the righteous, saying, The right hand of the Lord hath done valiantly.
16 [c]The right hand of the Lord is exalted: the right hand of the Lord hath done valiantly.
17 I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord.
18 The Lord had chastened me sore, but he hath not delivered me to death.
19 Open ye unto me the [d]gates of righteousness, that I may go into them, and praise the Lord.
20 This is the gate of the Lord: the righteous shall enter into it.
21 I will praise thee: for thou hast heard me, and hast been my deliverance.
22 (A)The stone, which the builders [e]refused, is the head of the corner.
23 This was the Lord’s doing, and it is marvelous in our eyes,
24 This is the [f]day, which the Lord hath made: let us rejoice and be glad in it.
15 1 The Gospel that Paul preached. 3 The death and resurrection of Christ. 8 Paul saw Christ. 9 He had persecuted that Church, whereof afterward he was made a minister. 12 Christ first rose again, and we all shall rise by him. 26 The last enemy, death. 29 To be baptized for dead. 32 At Ephesus Paul fought with beasts. 35 How the dead are raised. 45 The first Adam. The last Adam, 47 The first and second man. 51 We shall all be changed, we shall not all sleep. 55 Death’s sting. 57 Victory. 58 Constancy and steadfastness.
1 Moreover (A)[a]brethren, I declare unto you the Gospel which I preached unto you, which ye have also received, and wherein ye [b]continue,
2 And whereby ye are saved, if ye keep in memory, after what manner I preached it unto you, [c]except ye have believed in vain.
3 For first of all, I delivered unto you that which I received, how that Christ died for our sins, according to the (B)Scriptures,
4 And that he was buried, and that he arose the third day, according to the (C)Scriptures,
5 (D)And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the [d]twelve.
6 After that, he was seen of more than five hundred brethren at [e]once: whereof many remain unto this present, and some also are asleep.
7 After that, he was seen of James: then of all the Apostles.
8 (E)[f]And last of all he was seen also of me, as of one born out of due time.
9 (F)For I am the least of the Apostles, which am not meet to be called an Apostle, because I persecuted the Church of God.
10 (G)But by the grace of God I am that I am: and his grace which is in me, was not in vain: but I labored more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which is with me.
11 Wherefore, whether it were I, or they, so we preach, and so have ye believed.
34 [a]Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive, that (A)[b]God is no [respecter] of persons.

20 1 Mary bringeth word that Christ is risen: 3 Peter and John 4 run to see it. 15 Jesus appeareth to Mary, 19 and to the disciples that were together in the house, 25 Thomas, before faithless, 29 now believeth.
1 Now (A)[a]the first day of the week came Mary Magdalene, early when it was yet dark, unto the sepulcher, and saw the stone taken away from the tomb.
2 Then she ran, and came to Simon Peter, and to the other disciple, whom Jesus loved, and said unto them, They have taken away the Lord out of the sepulcher, and we know not where they have laid him.
3 Peter therefore went forth, and the other disciple, and they came unto the sepulcher.
4 So they ran both together, but the other disciple did outrun Peter, and came first to the sepulcher.
5 And he stooped down, and saw the linen clothes lying: yet went he not in.
6 Then came Simon Peter following him, and went into the sepulcher, and saw the linen clothes lie,
7 And the kerchief that was upon his head, not lying with the linen clothes, but wrapped together in a place by itself.
8 Then went in also the other disciple, which came first to the sepulcher, and he saw it, and believed.
9 For as yet they knew not the Scripture, That he must rise again from the dead.
10 And the disciples went away again unto their own home.
11 ¶ (B)But Mary stood [b]without at the sepulcher weeping: and as she wept, she bowed herself into the sepulcher,
12 [c]And saw two Angels in [d]white, sitting, the one at the head, and the other at the feet, where the body of Jesus had lain.
13 And they said unto her, Woman, why weepest thou? She said unto them, They have taken away [e]my Lord, and I know not where they have laid him.
14 [f]When she had thus said, she turned herself back, and saw Jesus standing, and knew not that it was Jesus.
15 Jesus saith unto her, Woman, why weepest thou? whom seekest thou? She supposing that he had been the gardener, said unto him, Sir, if thou hast borne him hence, tell me where thou hast laid him, and I will take him away.
16 Jesus saith unto her, Mary. She turned herself, and said unto him, Rabboni, which is to say, Master.
17 [g]Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not: for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my [h]brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto [i]my Father, and to your Father, and to my God, and your God.
18 Mary Magdalene came and told the disciples that she had seen the Lord, and that he had spoken these things unto her.
16 1 Of Christ’s resurrection. 9 He appeareth to Mary Magdalene and others. 15 He sendeth his Apostles to preach. 19 His ascension.
1 And (A)when the Sabbath day was past, Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James and Salome, bought sweet ointments, that they might come and anoint him.
2 Therefore early in the morning, the first day of the week, they came unto the sepulcher, when the Sun was now risen.
3 And they said one to another, Who shall roll us away the stone from the door of the sepulcher?
4 And when they [a]looked, they saw that the stone was rolled away (for it was a very great one)
5 (B)So they went into the [b]sepulcher, and saw a young man sitting at the right side, clothed in a long white robe: and they were sore troubled.
6 But he said unto them, Be not so troubled: ye seek Jesus of Nazareth, which hath been crucified: he is risen, he is not here: behold the place where they put him.
7 But go your way, and tell his disciples, and Peter, that he will go before you into Galilee: there shall ye see him, (C)as he said unto you.
8 And they went out quickly, and fled from the sepulcher: for they trembled, and were amazed: neither said they anything to any man: for they were afraid.
