Revised Common Lectionary (Semicontinuous)
BETH
9 Wherewith shall a [a]young man redress his way? in taking heed thereto according to thy word.
10 With my whole heart have I sought thee: let me not wander from thy commandments.
11 I have [b]hid thy promise in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.
12 Blessed art thou, O Lord: teach me thy statutes.
13 With my lips have I declared all the judgments of thy mouth.
14 I have had as great [c]delight in the way of thy testimonies, as in all riches.
15 I will meditate in thy precepts, and consider thy ways.
16 I will delight in thy statutes, and I will not forget thy word.
8 I will bring forth the blind people, and they shall have eyes, and the deaf, and they shall have ears.
9 Let all the nations be gathered [a]together, and let the people be assembled: who among them can declare this, and show us former things? let them bring forth their [b]witnesses, that they may be justified: but let them [c]hear, and say, It is truth.
10 You [d]are my witnesses, saith the Lord, and my [e]servant, whom I have chosen: therefore ye shall know and believe me, and ye shall understand that I am: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me.
11 I, even I am the Lord, and beside me there is no Savior.
12 I have declared, and I have saved, and I have showed, when there was no strange god among you: therefore you are my witnesses, saith the Lord, that I am God.
13 Yea, before the day was, I am, and there is none that can deliver out of mine hand: I will do it, and who shall let it?
4 And such [a]trust have we through Christ to God:
5 Not that we are sufficient of ourselves, to think anything, as of ourselves: but our [b]sufficiency is of God,
6 [c]Who also hath made us able ministers of the New Testament, not of the [d]letter, but of the Spirit: for the letter killeth, but the Spirit giveth life.
7 If then the ministration of death written with letters [e]and engraven in stones, was [f]glorious, so that the children of Israel could not behold the face of Moses, for the glory of his countenance (which glory is gone away.)
8 How shall not the [g]ministration of the Spirit be more glorious?
9 For if the ministry of condemnation was glorious, much more doth the ministration of [h]righteousness exceed in glory.
10 For even that which was glorified, was not glorified in this point, that is, as touching the exceeding glory.
11 For if that they should be [i]abolished, was glorious, much more shall that which remaineth be glorious.
