Version
Psalm 102:12-28

12 But You, O Yahweh, [a](A)abide forever,
And the (B)remembrance of Your name [b]from generation to generation.
13 You will (C)arise and have (D)compassion on Zion—
For (E)it is time to be gracious to it,
For the (F)appointed time has come.
14 For Your slaves [c]find pleasure in its stones
And show grace to its dust—
15 [d]So the [e](G)nations will fear the name of Yahweh
And (H)all the kings of the earth Your glory.
16 For Yahweh has (I)built up Zion;
He has (J)appeared in His glory.
17 He has (K)turned toward the prayer of the [f]destitute
And has not despised their prayer.

18 [g]This will be (L)written for the (M)generation to come,
And (N)a people yet to be created will praise Yah.
19 For He (O)looked down from His holy height;
(P)From heaven Yahweh gazed [h]upon the earth,
20 To hear the (Q)groaning of the prisoner,
To (R)set free [i]those who were doomed to death,
21 To (S)recount the name of Yahweh in Zion
And His praise in Jerusalem,
22 When (T)the peoples are gathered together,
And the kingdoms, to serve Yahweh.

23 He has afflicted my strength in the way;
He has (U)shortened my days.
24 I say, “O my God, (V)do not take me away in the [j]midst of my days,
Your (W)years are from generation to all generations.
25 Of old You (X)founded the earth,
And the (Y)heavens are the work of Your hands.
26 [k]Even they will (Z)perish, but You will remain;
And all of them will wear out like a garment;
Like clothing You will change them and they will be changed.
27 But You are [l](AA)the same,
And Your years will not come to an end.
28 The (AB)children of Your slaves will dwell securely,
And their (AC)seed will be established before You.”

2 Kings 8:1-6

Jehoram Restores the Shunammite’s Land

Now (A)Elisha spoke to the woman whose son he had restored to life, saying, “Arise and go [a]with your household, and sojourn wherever you can sojourn; for (B)Yahweh has called for a famine, and (C)it will even come on the land for seven years.” So the woman arose and did according to the word of the man of God, and she went with her household and sojourned in the land of the Philistines seven years. Now it happened at the end of seven years, that the woman returned from the land of the Philistines; and she went out to cry out to the king for her house and for her field. Now the king was speaking with (D)Gehazi, the young man of the man of God, saying, “Please recount to me all the great things that Elisha has done.” Now it happened as he was recounting to the king (E)how he had restored to life the one who was dead, that behold, the woman whose son he had restored to life was crying out to the king for her house and for her field. And Gehazi said, “My lord, O king, this is the woman, and this is her son, whom Elisha restored to life.” Then the king asked the woman, and she recounted it to him. So the king appointed for her a certain officer, saying, “Restore all that was hers and all the produce of the field from the day that she left the land even until now.”

Acts 15:36-41

Disagreement Between Paul and Barnabas

36 Now after some days Paul said to Barnabas, “Let us return and visit the brothers in (A)every city in which we proclaimed (B)the word of the Lord, and see how they are.” 37 And Barnabas wanted to take (C)John, called Mark, along with them also. 38 But Paul kept insisting that they should not take him along who had (D)deserted them [a]in Pamphylia and had not gone with them to the work. 39 And there was such a sharp disagreement that they separated from one another, and Barnabas took (E)Mark with him and sailed away to (F)Cyprus. 40 But Paul chose (G)Silas and left, being (H)committed by the brothers to the grace of the Lord. 41 And he was traveling through (I)Syria and (J)Cilicia, strengthening the churches.
