Version
Psalm 139:13-18

13 For You (A)formed my [a]inward parts;
You (B)wove me in my mother’s womb.
14 I will give thanks to You, for [b]I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
(C)Wonderful are Your works,
And my soul knows it very well.
15 My [c](D)frame was not hidden from You,
When I was made in secret,
And (E)intricately woven in the (F)depths of the earth;
16 Your (G)eyes have seen my unshaped substance;
And in (H)Your book all of them were written
The (I)days that were formed for me,
When as yet there was not one of them.

17 How precious are Your (J)thoughts to me, O God!
How vast is the sum of them!
18 If I should count them, they would (K)outnumber the sand.
When (L)I awake, I am still with You.

Genesis 35:16-29

16 Then they journeyed from Bethel; and there was still some distance to go to (A)Ephrath, and Rachel gave birth, and she [a]suffered severely in her labor. 17 Now it happened that when she was in severe labor the midwife said to her, “Do not fear, for now (B)you have another son.” 18 Now it happened as her soul was departing (for she died), that she named him [b]Ben-oni; but his father called him [c]Benjamin. 19 So (C)Rachel died and was buried on the way to (D)Ephrath (that is, Bethlehem). 20 And Jacob set up a pillar over her grave; that is the (E)pillar of Rachel’s grave to this day. 21 Then Israel journeyed on and pitched his tent beyond the [d](F)tower of [e]Eder.

The Sons of Jacob

22 Now it happened while Israel was dwelling in that land, that (G)Reuben went and lay with Bilhah his father’s concubine, and Israel heard of it.

And there were twelve sons of Jacob—

23 (H)the sons of Leah:
Reuben, Jacob’s firstborn,
then Simeon and Levi and Judah and Issachar and Zebulun;
24 (I)the sons of Rachel:
Joseph and Benjamin;
25 and (J)the sons of Bilhah, Rachel’s servant-woman:
Dan and Naphtali;
26 and (K)the sons of Zilpah, Leah’s servant-woman:
Gad and Asher.

These are the sons of Jacob who were born to him in Paddan-aram.

27 And Jacob came to his father Isaac at (L)Mamre of (M)Kiriath-arba (that is, Hebron), where Abraham and Isaac had sojourned.

28 Now the days of Isaac were (N)180 years. 29 And Isaac breathed his last and died and was (O)gathered to his people, an (P)old man and full of days; and (Q)his sons Esau and Jacob buried him.

Matthew 12:15-21

15 But Jesus, [a]aware of this, withdrew from there. Many followed Him, and (A)He healed them all, 16 and (B)warned them not to make Him known, 17 in order that what was spoken through Isaiah the prophet would be fulfilled, saying,

18 (C)Behold, My [b]Servant whom I [c]have chosen;
(D)My Beloved in whom My soul [d]is well-pleased;
(E)I will put My Spirit upon Him,
(F)And He shall proclaim [e]justice to the [f]Gentiles.
19 (G)He will not quarrel, nor cry out;
Nor will anyone hear His voice in the streets.
20 (H)A battered reed He will not break off,
And a smoldering wick He will not put out,
Until He [g]leads [h]justice to victory.
21 (I)And in His name the [i]Gentiles will hope.”
