116 O praise the Lord, all ye nations: praise him, all ye people.

² For his mercy is confirmed upon us: and the truth of the Lord remaineth for ever.

21 And the Lord visited Sara, as he had promised: and fulfilled what he had spoken.

² And she conceived and bore a son in her old age, at the time that God had foretold her.

³ And Abraham called the name of his son, whom Sara bore him, Isaac.

⁴ And he circumcised him the eighth day, as God had commanded him,

⁵ When he was a hundred years old: for at this age of his father was Isaac born.

⁶ And Sara said: God hath made a laughter for me: whosoever shall hear of it will laugh with me.

⁷ And again she said: Who would believe that Abraham should hear that Sara gave suck to a son, whom she bore to him in his old age.

3 Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly vocation, consider the apostle and high priest of our confession, Jesus:

² Who is faithful to him that made him, as was also Moses in all his house.

³ For this man was counted worthy of greater glory than Moses, by so much as he that hath built the house, hath greater honour than the house.

⁴ For every house is built by some man: but he that created all things, is God.

⁵ And Moses indeed was faithful in all his house as a servant, for a testimony of those things which were to be said:

⁶ But Christ as the Son in his own house: which house are we, if we hold fast the confidence and glory of hope unto the end.
