黙示録 22:6-9
6 それから天使が私に言った。「これらのことばは真実であり、信頼することができる。預言者の霊に命じる王である神だ。彼は天使を遣わし、もうすぐ起こることを彼の召使に見せるのだ」
7 「聞け！わたしはもうすぐでそちらに着く！この書にある預言のことばに従う者には素晴らしい祝福がある」
8 私はヨハネだ。これらのことを目にし、聞いた者、それが私だ。私はこれらを見た後、見せてくれた天使に賛美を捧げるために天使の足元にひれ伏した。 9 だが、天使は私にこう言った。「私を賛美するな！私はお前やお前の兄弟である預言者と同じ召使いだ。私は、この書にあることばに従う者たちと同じ召使いである。だから、お前は私ではなく神を賛美するべきだ！」
