主的日子

3 各位蒙爱的人哪，这已经是我写给你们的第二封信。在这两封信中，我都用提醒的话来激发你们纯洁的意念， 2 要使你们想起圣先知们曾经说过的话，以及你们[a]的使徒们所传[b]的主、救主的命令。 3 你们首先要知道这一点：在末后的日子里，将有好讥诮的人出来讥诮[c]，他们顺着自己的欲望生活， 4 并且说：“他[d]来临的应许在哪里呢？其实自从祖先睡了以来，一切[e]都继续存留，与创世之初一样。” 5 他们故意忽略这一点：就是从太古的时候，藉着神的话语有了诸天，也有了从水而出、藉水而成的大地； 6 藉着神的话语和水[f]，当时的世界被水淹没就毁灭了； 7 但现在的天和地，藉着他的话语得以存留，一直留到不敬神的人受审判和灭亡[g]的日子，被火焚烧[h]。
