Psalm 119:9-16

Beth

How can a young man keep his way pure?
By (A)keeping it according to Your word.
10 With (B)all my heart I have sought You;
Do not let me (C)wander from Your commandments.
11 I have (D)treasured Your word in my heart,
So that I may not sin against You.
12 Blessed are You, Lord;
(E)Teach me Your statutes.
13 With my lips I have (F)told of
All the (G)ordinances of Your mouth.
14 I have (H)rejoiced in the way of Your testimonies,
[a]As much as in all riches.
15 I will (I)meditate on Your precepts
And [b]regard (J)Your ways.
16 I shall [c](K)delight in Your statutes;
I will (L)not forget Your word.

Isaiah 43:8-13

Israel Is God’s Witness

Bring out the people who are (A)blind, even though they have eyes,
And those who are deaf, even though they have ears.
All the nations have (B)gathered together
So that the peoples may be assembled.
Who among them can (C)declare this
And proclaim to us the former things?
Let them present (D)their witnesses so (E)that they may be justified,
Or let them hear and say, “It is true.”
10 “You are (F)My witnesses,” declares the Lord,
“And (G)My servant whom I have chosen,
So that you may know and believe Me
And understand that (H)I am He.
(I)Before Me there was no God formed,
And there will be none after Me.
11 I, only I, am the Lord,
And there is no (J)savior (K)besides Me.
12 It is I who have declared and saved and proclaimed,
And there was no (L)strange god among you;
So you are My witnesses,” declares the Lord,
“And I am God.
13 Even [a](M)from eternity (N)I am He,
And there is (O)no one who can rescue from My hand;
(P)I act, and who can reverse it?”

2 Corinthians 3:4-11

Such is the (A)confidence we have toward God through Christ. Not that we are adequate in ourselves so as to consider anything as having come from ourselves, but (B)our adequacy is from God, who also made us adequate as (C)servants of a (D)new covenant, not of (E)the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but (F)the Spirit gives life.

But if the (G)ministry of death, engraved (H)in letters on stones, came [a]with glory (I)so that the sons of Israel could not look intently at the face of Moses because of the glory of his face, fading as it was, how will the ministry of the Spirit fail to be even more with glory? For if (J)the ministry of condemnation has glory, much more does the (K)ministry of righteousness excel in glory. 10 For indeed what had glory in this case has no glory, because of the glory that surpasses it. 11 For if that which fades away was [b]with glory, much more that which remains is in glory.
