Psalm 105:1-11

The Lords Wonderful Works in Behalf of Israel.

105 (A)Give thanks to the Lord, (B)call upon His name;
(C)Make His deeds known among the peoples.
Sing to Him, (D)sing praises to Him;
[a](E)Tell of all His [b]wonders.
Boast in His holy name;
May the (F)heart of those who seek the Lord be joyful.
Seek the Lord and (G)His strength;
(H)Seek His face continually.
Remember His [c](I)wonders which He has done,
His marvels and the (J)judgments [d]spoken by His mouth,
You [e]descendants of (K)Abraham, His servant,
You sons of (L)Jacob, His (M)chosen ones!
He is the Lord our God;
His (N)judgments are in all the earth.

He has (O)remembered His covenant forever,
The word which He commanded to a (P)thousand generations,
The (Q)covenant which He made with Abraham,
And His (R)oath to Isaac.
10 Then He (S)confirmed it to Jacob as a statute,
To Israel as an everlasting covenant,
11 Saying, “(T)To you I will give the land of Canaan
As the [f](U)portion of your inheritance,”

Psalm 105:37-45

37 Then He brought [a]the Israelites out with (A)silver and gold,
And among His tribes there was not one who stumbled.
38 Egypt was (B)glad when they departed,
For the (C)dread of them had fallen upon [b]the Egyptians.
39 He spread out a (D)cloud as a [c]covering,
And (E)fire to illumine by night.
40 [d]They (F)asked, and He brought (G)quail,
And satisfied them with the [e](H)bread of heaven.
41 He opened the [f]rock and (I)water flowed out;
[g]It ran in the dry places like a river.
42 For He (J)remembered His holy word
With His servant Abraham;
43 And He led out His people with joy,
His chosen ones with a joyful (K)shout.
44 He also (L)gave them the lands of the [h]nations,
So that they (M)might take possession of the fruit of the peoples’ labor,
45 And that they might (N)keep His statutes
And comply with His laws;
[i]Praise [j]the Lord!

Jeremiah 30:12-22

12 “For this is what the Lord says:
‘Your broken limb is irreparable,
And your (A)wound is incurable.
13 There is no one to plead your cause;
No healing for your sore,
(B)No recovery for you.
14 All your (C)lovers have forgotten you,
They do not seek you;
For I have (D)wounded you with the wound of an enemy,
With the (E)punishment of a (F)cruel one,
Because your (G)wrongdoing is great,
And your (H)sins are numerous.
15 Why do you cry out over your injury?
Your pain is incurable.
Because your wrongdoing is great
And your sins are numerous,
I have done these things to you.
16 Therefore all who (I)devour you will be devoured;
And all your adversaries, every one of them, (J)will go into captivity;
And those who plunder you will become plunder,
And all who plunder you I will turn into plunder.
17 For I will [a]restore you to [b](K)health
And I will heal you of your wounds,’ declares the Lord,
‘Because they have called you an (L)outcast, saying:
“It is Zion; no one [c]cares for her.”’

Restoration of Jacob

18 “This is what the Lord says:
‘Behold, I will (M)restore the fortunes of the tents of Jacob
And (N)have compassion on his dwellings;
And the (O)city will be rebuilt on its ruins,
And the (P)palace will stand on its rightful place.
19 From them will come a (Q)song of thanksgiving
And the voices of those who [d](R)celebrate;
And I will (S)multiply them and they will not decrease;
I will (T)honor them and they will not be insignificant.
20 [e]Their children also will be as before,
And [f]their congregation will be (U)established before Me;
And I will punish all [g]their oppressors.
21 [h]Their (V)leader shall be one of them,
And [i]their ruler will come out from [j]their midst;
And I will (W)bring him near and he shall approach Me;
For [k]who would dare to risk his life to (X)approach Me?’ declares the Lord.
22 ‘You shall be (Y)My people,
And I will be your God.’”

John 12:36-43

36 While you have the Light, (A)believe in the Light, so that you may become (B)sons of Light.”

These things Jesus proclaimed, and He went away and (C)hid Himself from them. 37 But though He had performed so many [a]signs in their sight, they still were not believing in Him. 38 This happened so that the word of Isaiah the prophet which he spoke would be fulfilled: “(D)Lord, who has believed our report? And to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?” 39 For this reason they could not believe, for Isaiah said again, 40 (E)He has blinded their eyes and He (F)hardened their heart, so that they will not see with their eyes and understand with their heart, and [b]be converted, and so I will not heal them.” 41 These things Isaiah said because (G)he saw His glory, and (H)he spoke about Him. 42 Nevertheless (I)many, even of (J)the rulers, believed in Him, but (K)because of the Pharisees they were not confessing Him, so that they would not be (L)excommunicated from the synagogue; 43 (M)for they loved the [c]approval of people rather than the [d]approval of God.
