Exodus 12:1-4

The Passover Lamb

12 Now the Lord said to Moses and Aaron in the land of [a]Egypt, (A)This month shall be the beginning of months for you; it is to be the first month of the year for you. Speak to all the congregation of Israel, saying, ‘On the tenth of this month they are, each one, to take a [b]lamb for themselves, according to the fathers’ households, a [c]lamb for [d]each household. Now if the household is too small for a [e]lamb, then he and his neighbor nearest to his house are to take one according to the [f]number of persons in them; in proportion to [g]what each one should eat, you are to [h]divide the lamb.

Exodus 12:5-10

Your [a]lamb shall be (A)an unblemished male a year old; you may take it from the sheep or from the goats. [b]You shall keep it until the (B)fourteenth day of the same month, then the whole assembly of the congregation of Israel is to slaughter it [c](C)at twilight. (D)Moreover, they shall take some of the blood and put it on the two doorposts and on the lintel [d]of the houses in which they eat it. They shall eat the flesh (E)that same night, (F)roasted with fire, and they shall eat it with (G)unleavened bread [e](H)and bitter herbs. Do not eat any of it raw or boiled at all with water, but rather (I)roasted with fire, both its head and its legs along with (J)its entrails. 10 (K)And you shall not leave any of it over until morning, but whatever is left of it until morning, you shall completely burn with fire.

Exodus 12:11-14

11 Now you shall eat it in this way: with your garment [a]belted around your waist, your sandals on your feet, and your staff in your hand; and you shall eat it in a hurry—it is (A)the Lords Passover. 12 For (B)I will go through the land of Egypt on that night, and fatally strike all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, from the human firstborn to animals; and (C)against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgments—(D)I am the Lord. 13 (E)The blood shall be a sign for you on the houses where you [b]live; and when I see the blood I will pass over you, and no plague will come upon you [c]to destroy you when I strike the land of Egypt.

Feast of Unleavened Bread

14 ‘Now (F)this day shall be (G)a memorial to you, and you shall celebrate it as a feast to the Lord; throughout your generations you are to celebrate it as [d](H)a permanent ordinance.

Psalm 116:1-2

Thanksgiving for Rescue from Death.

116 (A)I love the Lord, because He (B)hears
My voice and my pleas.
Because He has (C)inclined His ear to me,
Therefore I will call upon Him as long as I live.

Psalm 116:12-19

12 What shall I (A)repay to the Lord
For all His (B)benefits [a]to me?
13 I will lift up the (C)cup of salvation,
And (D)call upon the name of the Lord.
14 I will (E)pay my vows to the Lord;
May it be (F)in the presence of all His people!
15 (G)Precious in the sight of the Lord
Is the death of His godly ones.
16 O Lord, [b]I surely am (H)Your slave,
I am Your slave, the (I)son of Your female slave,
You have (J)unfastened my restraints.
17 I will offer You (K)a sacrifice of thanksgiving,
And (L)call upon the name of the Lord.
18 I will (M)pay my vows to the Lord,
May it be in the presence of all His people,
19 In the (N)courtyards of the Lords house,
In the midst of you, (O)Jerusalem!
[c]Praise [d]the Lord!

1 Corinthians 11:23-26

The Lord’s Supper

23 For (A)I received from the Lord that which I also delivered to you, that (B)the Lord Jesus, on the night when He was betrayed, took bread; 24 and when He had given thanks, He broke it and said, “This is My body, which is for you; do this in remembrance of Me.” 25 In the same way He also took (C)the cup after supper, saying, “This cup is the (D)new covenant in My blood; do this, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of Me.” 26 For as often as you eat this bread and drink the cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death (E)until He comes.

John 13:1-17

The Lord’s Supper

13 Now before the Feast of (A)the Passover, Jesus, knowing that (B)His hour had come that He would depart from this world (C)to the Father, having loved His own who were in the world, He loved them [a]to the end. And during supper, (D)the devil having already put into the heart of (E)Judas Iscariot, the son of Simon, to betray Him, Jesus, (F)knowing that the Father had handed all things over to Him, and that (G)He had come forth from God and was going back to God, *got up from supper and *laid His outer garments aside; and He took a towel and (H)tied it around Himself.

Jesus Washes the Disciples’ Feet

Then He *poured water into the basin, and began (I)washing the disciples’ feet and wiping them with the towel which He had tied around Himself. So He *came to Simon Peter. He *said to Him, “Lord, You are washing my feet?” Jesus answered and said to him, “What I am doing, you do not realize right now, but you will understand (J)later.” Peter *said to Him, “Never shall You wash my feet!” Jesus answered him, (K)If I do not wash you, (L)you have no [b]place with Me.” Simon Peter *said to Him, “Lord, then wash not only my feet, but also my hands and my head!” 10 Jesus *said to him, “He who has bathed needs only to wash his feet; otherwise he is completely clean. And (M)you are clean—but [c]not all of you.” 11 For (N)He knew the one who was betraying Him; it was for this reason that He said, “Not all of you are clean.”

12 Then, when He had washed their feet, and (O)taken His garments and reclined at the table again, He said to them, “Do you know what I have done for you? 13 You call Me (P)‘Teacher’ and (Q)‘Lord’; and [d]you are correct, for so I am. 14 So if I, (R)the Lord and the Teacher, washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another’s feet. 15 For I gave you (S)an example, so that you also would do just as I did for you. 16 Truly, truly I say to you, (T)a slave is not greater than his master, nor is (U)[e]one who is sent greater than the one who sent him. 17 If you know these things, you are (V)blessed if you do them.

John 13:31-35

31 Therefore when he had left, Jesus *said, “Now [a]is (A)the Son of Man (B)glorified, and (C)God [b]is glorified in Him; 32 [c]if God is glorified in Him, (D)God will also glorify Him in Himself, and will glorify Him immediately. 33 (E)Little children, I am still with you (F)a little longer. (G)You will look for Me; and just as I said to the [d]Jews, now I also say to you: ‘Where I am going, you cannot come.’ 34 I am giving you a (H)new commandment, (I)that you love one another; (J)just as I have loved you, that you also love one another. 35 (K)By this all people will know that you are My disciples: if you have love for one another.”
