Psalm 118:1-2

Thanksgiving for the Lords Saving Goodness.

118 (A)Give thanks to the Lord, for (B)He is good;
For His mercy is everlasting.
Let (C)Israel say,
“His mercy is everlasting.”

Psalm 118:14-24

14 [a](A)The Lord is my strength and song,
And He has become (B)my salvation.

15 The sound of (C)joyful shouting and salvation is in the tents of the righteous;
The (D)right hand of the Lord performs valiantly.
16 The (E)right hand of the Lord is exalted;
The right hand of the Lord performs valiantly.
17 I (F)will not die, but live,
And (G)tell of the works of [b]the Lord.
18 [c]The Lord has (H)disciplined me severely,
But He has (I)not turned me over to death.

19 (J)Open the gates of righteousness to me;
I will enter through them, I will give thanks to [d]the Lord.
20 This is the gate of the Lord;
The (K)righteous will enter through it.
21 I will give thanks to You, for You have (L)answered me,
And You have (M)become my salvation.

22 A (N)stone which the builders rejected
Has become the [e]chief cornerstone.
23 This came about from the Lord;
It is marvelous in our eyes.
24 This is the day which the Lord has made;
Let’s (O)rejoice and be glad in it.

Genesis 1:20-2:4

20 Then God said, “Let the waters [a]teem with swarms of living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth [b]in the open [c]expanse of the heavens.” 21 And God created (A)the great sea creatures and every living creature that moves, with which the waters swarmed, according to their kind, and every winged bird according to its kind; and God saw that it was good. 22 God blessed them, saying, “Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let birds multiply on the earth.” 23 And there was evening and there was morning, a fifth day.

24 (B)Then God said, “Let the earth produce living creatures according to [d]their kind: livestock and crawling things and animals of the earth according to [e]their kind”; and it was so. 25 God made the (C)animals of the earth according to [f]their kind, and the livestock according to [g]their kind, and everything that crawls on the ground according to its kind; and God saw that it was good.

26 Then God said, “[h]Let (D)Us make (E)mankind in Our image, according to Our likeness; and [i]let them (F)rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over the livestock and over all the earth, and over every crawling thing that crawls on the earth.” 27 So God created man (G)in His own image, in the image of God He created him; (H)male and female He created them. 28 God blessed them; and God said to them, “(I)Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth, and subdue it; and rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over every living thing that [j]moves on the earth.” 29 Then God said, “Behold, (J)I have given you every plant yielding seed that is on the [k]surface of all the earth, and every tree [l]which has fruit yielding seed; it shall be food for you; 30 and (K)to every animal of the earth and to every bird of the sky and to everything that [m]moves on the earth [n]which has life, I have given every green plant for food”; and it was so. 31 And God saw all that He had made, and behold, it was very (L)good. And there was evening and there was morning, the sixth day.

And so the heavens and the earth were completed, and all (M)their heavenly [o]lights. By (N)the seventh day God completed His work which He had done, and (O)He rested on the seventh day from all His work which He had done. Then God blessed the seventh day and sanctified it, because on it He rested from all His work which God had created [p]and made.

The Creation of Man and Woman

[q](P)This is the account of the heavens and the earth when they were created, in (Q)the day that the Lord God made earth and heaven.

1 Corinthians 15:50-58

The Mystery of Resurrection

50 Now I say this, brothers and sisters, that (A)flesh and blood cannot (B)inherit the kingdom of God; nor does [a]the perishable inherit [b](C)the imperishable. 51 Behold, I am telling you a [c](D)mystery; we will not all sleep, but we will all be (E)changed, 52 in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet; for (F)the trumpet will sound, and (G)the dead will be raised [d]imperishable, and (H)we will be changed. 53 For this [e]perishable must put on [f](I)the imperishable, and this (J)mortal must put on immortality. 54 But when this [g]perishable puts on [h]the imperishable, and this mortal puts on immortality, then will come about the saying that is written: “(K)Death has been swallowed up in victory. 55 (L)Where, O Death, is your victory? Where, O Death, is your sting?” 56 The sting of (M)death is sin, and (N)the power of sin is the Law; 57 but (O)thanks be to God, who gives us the (P)victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

58 (Q)Therefore, my beloved brothers and sisters, be firm, immovable, always excelling in (R)the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.
