⁹ Then shalt thou call, and the Lord shall answer; thou shalt cry, and He shall say, ‘Here I am.’ If thou take away from the midst of thee the yoke, the putting forth of the finger and speaking vanity,

¹⁰ and if thou draw out thy soul to the hungry and satisfy the afflicted soul, then shall thy light rise in obscurity and thy darkness be as the noonday.

¹¹ And the Lord shall guide thee continually, and satisfy thy soul in drought, and make fat thy bones; and thou shalt be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water whose waters fail not.

¹² And they that shall be of thee shall build the old waste places; thou shalt raise up the foundations of many generations, and thou shalt be called the Repairer of the Breach, the Restorer of Paths to dwell in.

¹³ “If thou turn away thy foot from the Sabbath, from doing thy pleasure on My holy day, and call the Sabbath a delight, the holy of the Lord, honorable, and shalt honor Him, not doing thine own ways, nor finding thine own pleasure, nor speaking thine own words,

¹⁴ then shalt thou delight thyself in the Lord; and I will cause thee to ride upon the high places of the earth, and feed thee with the heritage of Jacob thy father; for the mouth of the Lord hath spoken it.”

103 Bless the Lord, O my soul; and all that is within me, bless His holy name!

² Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits—

³ who forgiveth all thine iniquities, who healeth all thy diseases,

⁴ who redeemeth thy life from destruction, who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies,

⁵ who satisfieth thy mouth with good things, so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle’s.

⁶ The Lord executeth righteousness and judgment for all that are oppressed.

⁷ He made known His ways unto Moses, His acts unto the children of Israel.

⁸ The Lord is merciful and gracious, slow to anger and plenteous in mercy.

¹⁸ For ye have not come unto the mount which might be touched and that burned with fire, nor unto blackness and darkness and tempest,

¹⁹ and the sound of a trumpet and the voice of words, which voice those who heard entreated that the Word should not be spoken to them any more.

²⁰ (For they could not endure that which was commanded, that: “if even so much as a beast touch the mountain, it shall be stoned or thrust through with a dart.”

²¹ And so terrible was the sight that Moses said, “I fear exceedingly and quake.”)

²² But ye have come unto Mount Zion and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels,

²³ to the general assembly and church of the firstborn, who are written in Heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect,

²⁴ and to Jesus the Mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel.

²⁵ See that ye refuse not Him that speaketh, for if they escaped not who refused Him that spoke on earth, much more shall we not escape if we turn away from Him that speaketh from Heaven,

²⁶ whose voice then shook the earth. But now He hath promised, saying, “Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also heaven.”

²⁷ And these words, “yet once more,” signifieth the removing of those things which can be shaken, such as things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain.

²⁸ Therefore, we receiving a Kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace whereby we may serve God acceptably, with reverence and godly fear.

²⁹ For our God is a consuming fire.

¹⁰ And He was teaching in one of the synagogues on the Sabbath.

¹¹ And behold, there was a woman who had a spirit of infirmity for eighteen years, and was bowed down and could in no way lift herself up.

¹² And when Jesus saw her, He called her to Him and said unto her, “Woman, thou art loosed from thine infirmity.”

¹³ And He laid His hands on her, and immediately she was made straight, and glorified God.

¹⁴ But the ruler of the synagogue answered with indignation, because Jesus had healed on the Sabbath day, and said unto the people, “There are six days in which men ought to work; in them therefore come and be healed, and not on the Sabbath day.”

¹⁵ The Lord then answered him and said, “Thou hypocrite! Doth not each one of you on the Sabbath loose his ox or his ass from the stall and lead him away to watering?

¹⁶ And ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan hath bound, lo, these eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the Sabbath day?”

¹⁷ And when He had said these things, all His adversaries were ashamed; and all the people rejoiced for all the glorious things that were done by Him.
