Psalm 105:1-11

Remember His Wondrous Deeds

105 Oh (A)give thanks to Yahweh, (B)call upon His name;
(C)Make known His acts among the peoples.
Sing to Him, (D)sing praises to Him;
(E)Muse on all His wondrous deeds.
Boast in His holy name;
Let the (F)heart of those who seek Yahweh be glad.
Inquire of Yahweh and (G)His strength;
(H)Seek His face continually.
Remember His (I)wondrous deeds which He has done,
His miracles and the (J)judgments [a]uttered by His mouth,
O seed of (K)Abraham, His servant,
O sons of (L)Jacob, His (M)chosen ones!
He is Yahweh our God;
His (N)judgments are in all the earth.

He has (O)remembered His covenant forever,
The word which He commanded for a (P)thousand generations,
(Q)Which He cut with Abraham,
And His (R)oath to Isaac.
10 Then He (S)confirmed it to Jacob for a statute,
To Israel as an everlasting covenant,
11 Saying, “(T)To you I will give the land of Canaan
As the [b](U)portion of your inheritance,”

Psalm 105:37-45

37 Then He brought them out with (A)silver and gold,
And there was none among His tribes who stumbled.
38 Egypt was (B)glad when they went out,
For the (C)dread of them had fallen upon them.
39 He spread a (D)cloud for a [a]covering,
And (E)fire to give light by night.
40 [b]They (F)asked, and He brought (G)quail,
And He satisfied them with the [c](H)bread of heaven.
41 He opened the [d]rock and (I)water flowed out;
[e]It ran in the dry places like a river.
42 For He (J)remembered His holy word
With Abraham His servant;
43 And He brought His people out with joy,
His chosen ones with a shout of (K)joy.
44 He (L)gave them also the lands of the [f]nations,
That they (M)might take possession of the fruit of the peoples’ labor,
45 So that they might (N)keep His statutes
And observe His laws,
[g]Praise Yah!

Proverbs 4:10-27

10 Hear, my son, and (A)receive my sayings
And the (B)years of your life will be many.
11 I have (C)instructed you in the way of wisdom;
I have led you in upright tracks.
12 When you walk, your (D)steps will not be impeded;
And if you run, you (E)will not stumble.
13 (F)Seize discipline; do not let go.
Guard her, for she is your (G)life.
14 (H)Do not enter the path of wicked men
And do not step into the way of evil men.
15 Avoid it, do not pass by it;
(I)Stray from it and pass on.
16 For they (J)do not sleep unless they do evil;
And [a]they are robbed of sleep unless they make someone stumble.
17 For they (K)eat the bread of wickedness
And drink the wine of violence.
18 But the (L)path of the righteous is like the (M)light of dawn,
That (N)shines brighter and brighter until the (O)fullness of day.
19 The (P)way of the wicked is like thick darkness;
They do not know over what they [b](Q)stumble.

20 My son, (R)pay attention to my words;
(S)Incline your ear to my sayings.
21 (T)Do not let them deviate from your eyes;
(U)Keep them in the midst of your heart.
22 For they are (V)life to those who find them
And (W)healing to all his flesh.
23 Guard your heart with all diligence,
For (X)from it flow the springs of life.
24 Put away from you a (Y)perverse mouth
And (Z)put devious lips far from you.
25 Let your eyes look directly ahead
And even let your eyelids be fixed straight in front of you.
26 (AA)Watch the track of your feet
And all your (AB)ways will be established.
27 (AC)Do not turn to the right nor to the left;
(AD)Turn your foot from evil.

Luke 6:12-19

Jesus Appoints the Twelve

12 Now it happened that [a]at this time He went off to (A)the mountain to (B)pray, and He was spending the whole night in prayer to God. 13 And when day came, (C)He called His disciples to Him and chose twelve of them, whom He also named as (D)apostles: 14 Simon, whom He also named Peter, and Andrew his brother; and James and John; and Philip and Bartholomew; 15 and (E)Matthew and Thomas; James the son of Alphaeus, and Simon who was called the Zealot; 16 Judas the son of James, and Judas Iscariot, who became a traitor.

17 And Jesus (F)came down with them and stood on a level place; and there was (G)a large crowd of His disciples, and a great multitude of people from all Judea and Jerusalem and the coastal region of (H)Tyre and Sidon, 18 who had come to hear Him and to be healed of their diseases; and those who were troubled with unclean spirits were being cured. 19 And all the crowd was trying to (I)touch Him, for (J)power was coming from Him and healing them all.
