Exodus 19:2-8

For they departed from Rephidim, and came to the desert of Sinai, and camped in the wilderness, even there Israel camped before the mount.

(A)But Moses went up unto God, for the Lord had called out of the mount unto him, saying, Thus shalt thou say to the house of [a]Jacob, and tell the children of Israel.

(B)Ye have seen what I did unto the Egyptians, and how I carried you upon [b]eagle’s wings, and have brought you unto me.

Now therefore (C)if ye will hear my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be my chief treasure above all people, (D)though all the earth be mine.

Ye shall be unto me also a kingdom of (E)Priests, and an holy nation. These are the words which thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel.

¶ Moses then came and called for the Elders of the people, and proposed unto them all these things, which the Lord commanded him.

And the people answered all together, and said, (F)All that the Lord hath commanded, we will do. And Moses reported the words of the people unto the Lord.

Psalm 100

100 1 He exhorteth all to serve the Lord, 3 who hath chosen us, and preserved us, 4 and to enter into his assemblies to praise his Name.

A Psalm of praise.

Sing [a]ye loud unto the Lord, all the earth.

Serve the Lord with gladness; come before him with joyfulness.

Know ye that even the Lord is God; he hath [b]made us, and not we ourselves: we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.

[c]Enter into his gates with praise, and into his courts with rejoicing: praise him and bless his Name.

For the Lord is good: his mercy is [d]everlasting, and his truth is from generation to generation.

Romans 5:1-8

1 He amplifieth 2 Christ’s righteousness, which is laid hold on by faith, 5 who was given for the weak, 8 and sinful. 14 He compareth Christ with Adam. 17 Death with Life, 20 and the Law with Grace.

Then being [a]justified by faith, we have peace toward God through our Lord Jesus Christ.

(A)[b]By whom also through faith we have [c]had this access into this grace [d]wherein we [e]stand, [f]and [g]rejoice under the hope of the glory of God.

[h]Neither that only, but also we (B)rejoice in tribulations, [i]knowing that tribulation bringeth forth patience.

And patience experience, and experience hope.

[j]And hope maketh not ashamed, because the [k]love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the holy Ghost, which is given unto us.

[l]For Christ, when we were yet of no strength, at his [m]time died for the (C)ungodly.

[n]Doubtless one will scarce die [o]for a righteous man: but yet for a good man it may be that one dare die.

But God [p]setteth out his love towards us, seeing that while we were yet [q]sinners, Christ died for us.

Matthew 9:35-10:8

35 ¶ And (A)Jesus went about all cities and towns, teaching in their Synagogues, and preaching the Gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people.

36 [a]But (B)when he saw the multitude, he had compassion upon them, because they were dispersed, and scattered abroad, as sheep having no shepherd.

37 Then said he to his disciples, (C)Surely the harvest is great, but the laborers are few.

38 Wherefore pray the Lord of the harvest, that he would [b]send forth laborers into his harvest.

10 1 The gift of healing given to the Apostles. 5 They are sent to preach the Gospel. 13 Peace. 14 Shaking off the dust. 18 Affliction. 22 Continuance unto the end. 23 Fleeing from persecution. 28 Fear. 29 Two sparrows. 30 Hairs of our head. 32 To acknowledge Christ. 34 Peace and the sword. 35 Variance. 37 Love of parents. 38 The cross. 39 To lose the life. 40 To receive a Preacher.

And (D)[c]he called his twelve disciples unto him, and gave them power against unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal every sickness, and every disease.

Now the names of the twelve Apostles are these. The [d]first is Simon called Peter, and Andrew his brother, James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother,

Philip and Bartholomew: Thomas, and Matthew that Publican: James the son of Alphaeus, and Lebbaeus whose surname was Thaddaeus:

Simon the Canaanite, and Judas [e]Iscariot, who also betrayed him.

These twelve did Jesus send forth, and commanded them, saying, Go not into the way of the Gentiles, and into the cities of the Samaritans enter ye not:

But go rather (E)to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.

(F)[f]And as ye go preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand.

[g]Heal the sick: cleanse the lepers: raise up the dead: cast out the devils. Freely ye have received, freely give.

Matthew 10:9-23

(A)[a]Possess [b]not gold, nor silver, nor money in your girdles,

10 Nor a scrip for the journey, neither two coats, neither shoes, nor a staff: (B)for the workman is worthy of his [c]meat.

11 [d]And into (C)whatsoever city or town ye shall come, inquire who is worthy in it, and there abide till ye go thence.

12 And when ye come into an house, salute the same.

13 And if the house be worthy, let your [e]peace come upon it: but if it be not worthy, let your peace return to you.

14 (D)And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear your words, when ye depart out of that house, or that city, (E)shake off the dust of your feet.

15 Truly I say unto you, it shall be easier for them of the land of Sodom and Gomorrah in the day of judgment, than for that city.

16 (F)[f]Behold, I send you as [g]sheep in the midst of the wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and [h]innocent as doves.

17 But beware of [i]men, for they will deliver you up to the Councils, and will scourge you in their Synagogues.

18 And ye shall be brought to the governors and kings for my sake, in witness to them, and to the Gentiles.

19 (G)But when they deliver you up, take no thought how or what ye shall speak: for it shall be given you in that hour, what ye shall say.

20 For it is not ye that speak, but the spirit of your Father which speaketh in you.

21 And the (H)brother shall betray the brother to death, and the father the son, and the children shall rise against their parents, and shall cause them to die.

22 And ye shall be hated of all men for my Name: (I)but he that endureth to the end, he shall be saved.

23 And when they persecute you in this city, flee into another: for verily I say unto you, ye shall not [j]go over all the cities of Israel, till the Son of man be come.
