25 And (A)Barnabas and (B)Saul [a]returned [b]to Jerusalem, (C)fulfilling their ministry, taking along with them (D)John, who was also called Mark.
Barnabas and Saul Sent from Antioch by the Holy Spirit
13 Now there were at (E)Antioch, in the (F)church that was there, (G)prophets and (H)teachers: (I)Barnabas, and Simeon who was called Niger, and Lucius of (J)Cyrene, and Manaen who had been brought up with (K)Herod the tetrarch, and Saul. 2 And while they were ministering to the Lord and fasting, (L)the Holy Spirit said, “Set apart for Me (M)Barnabas and Saul for (N)the work to which I have called them.” 3 Then, when they had fasted and (O)prayed and (P)laid their hands on them, (Q)they sent them away.
Cause Your Face to Shine upon Us
For the choir director. With stringed instruments. A Psalm. A Song.
67 God be gracious to us and (A)bless us,
And (B)cause His face to shine [a]upon us— [b]Selah.
2 That (C)Your way may be known on the earth,
(D)Your salvation among all nations.
3 Let the (E)peoples praise You, O God;
Let all the peoples praise You.
4 Let the (F)nations be glad and sing for joy;
For You will (G)judge the peoples with uprightness
And (H)lead the nations on the earth. Selah.
5 Let the (I)peoples praise You, O God;
Let all the peoples praise You.
6 The (J)earth has yielded its produce;
God, our God, (K)blesses us.
7 God blesses us,
[c]That (L)all the ends of the earth may fear Him.
Ascribe to Yahweh Glory and Strength
96 (A)Sing to Yahweh a (B)new song;
Sing to Yahweh, all the earth.
2 Sing to Yahweh, bless His name;
(C)Proclaim good news of His salvation from day to day.
3 Recount (D)His glory among the nations,
His wondrous deeds among all the peoples.
4 For (E)great is Yahweh and (F)greatly to be praised;
He is [a]more [b](G)fearsome (H)than all gods.
5 For (I)all the gods of the peoples are [c]idols,
But (J)Yahweh made the heavens.
6 (K)Splendor and majesty are before Him,
Strength and beauty are in His sanctuary.
7 [d]Ascribe to Yahweh, O (L)families of the peoples,
[e](M)Ascribe to Yahweh glory and strength.
8 Ascribe to Yahweh the (N)glory of His name;
Lift up [f]an (O)offering and come into His courts.
9 (P)Worship Yahweh in the splendor of holiness;
(Q)Tremble before Him, all the earth.
10 Say among the nations, “(R)Yahweh [g]reigns;
Indeed, the (S)world is established, it will not be shaken;
He will (T)render justice to the peoples with [h]equity.”
11 Let the (U)heavens be glad, and let the (V)earth rejoice;
Let (W)the sea [i]roar, as well as its fullness;
12 Let the (X)field exult, and all that is in it.
Then all the (Y)trees of the forest will sing for joy
13 Before Yahweh, (Z)for He is coming,
For He is coming to judge the earth.
(AA)He will judge the world in righteousness
And the peoples in His faithfulness.
Preach the Word
4 (A)I solemnly charge you in the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who is to (B)judge the living and the dead, and by His (C)appearing and His kingdom: 2 preach (D)the word; be ready in season and out of season; (E)reprove, rebuke, exhort, with [a]great (F)patience and teaching. 3 For (G)the time will come when they will not endure (H)sound doctrine, but wanting to have [b]their ears tickled, they will accumulate for themselves teachers in accordance to their own desires, 4 and (I)will turn away their ears from the truth and (J)will turn aside to myths.
5 But you, (K)be sober in all things, (L)endure hardship, do the work of an (M)evangelist, fulfill your (N)ministry.
6 For I am already being (O)poured out as a drink offering, and the time of (P)my departure has come. 7 (Q)I have fought the good fight, I have finished (R)the course, I have kept (S)the faith. 8 In the future there (T)is laid up for me (U)the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on (V)that day, and not only to me, but also to (W)all who have loved His (X)appearing.
Personal Concerns
9 (Y)Be diligent to come to me soon, 10 for (Z)Demas, having loved (AA)this present age, has deserted me and gone to (AB)Thessalonica; Crescens has gone to [c](AC)Galatia, (AD)Titus to Dalmatia. 11 (AE)Only (AF)Luke is with me. Pick up (AG)Mark and bring him with you, (AH)for he is useful to me for service.
