Psalm 66-67

66 1 He provoketh all men to praise the Lord and to consider his works. 6 He setteth forth the power of God to affray the rebels. 10 And showeth how God hath delivered Israel from great bondage and afflictions. 13 He promiseth to give sacrifice, 16 And provoketh all men to hear what God hath done for him, and to praise his Name.

To him that excelleth. A song or Psalm.

Rejoice in God, [a]all ye inhabitants of the earth.

Sing forth the glory of his Name: make his praise glorious.

Say unto God, How terrible art thou in thy works! through the greatness of thy power shall thine enemies be [b]in subjection unto thee.

All the world shall worship thee, and sing unto thee, even sing of thy Name. Selah.

[c]Come and behold the works of God: he is terrible in his doings toward [d]the sons of men.

He hath turned the sea into dry land: they passed through the river on foot: there did we rejoice in him.

He ruleth the world with his power: his eyes behold the nations: the rebellious shall not [e]exalt themselves. Selah.

Praise our God, ye people, and make the voice of his praise to be heard.

Which [f]holdeth our souls in life, and suffereth not our feet to slip.

10 For thou, O God, hast proved us, thou hast tried us as silver is tried.

11 Thou hast brought us unto the [g]snare, and laid a strait chain upon our loins.

12 Thou hast caused men to ride over our heads: we went into fire and into water, but thou broughtest us out into a wealthy place.

13 I will go into thine [h]House with burnt offerings, and will pay thee my vows,

14 Which my lips have promised, and my mouth hath spoken in mine affliction.

15 I will offer unto thee the burnt offerings of fat rams with incense: I will prepare bullocks and goats. Selah.

16 [i]Come and hearken, all ye that fear God, and I will tell you what he hath done to my soul.

17 I called unto him with my mouth, and he was exalted with my tongue.

18 [j]If I regard wickedness in mine heart, the Lord will not hear me.

19 But God hath heard me, and considered the voice of my prayer.

20 Praised be God, which hath not put back my prayer, nor his mercy from me.

67 1 A prayer of the Church to obtain the favor of God and to be lightened with his countenance. 2 To the end that his way and judgment may be known throughout the earth. 7 And finally is declared the kingdom of God, which should be universally erected at the coming of Christ.

To him that excelleth on Neginoth. A Psalm or song.

God be merciful unto us, and bless us, and [k]cause his face to shine among us. (Selah.)

That [l]they may know thy way upon earth, and thy saving health among all nations.

Let the people praise thee, O God: let all the people praise thee.

[m]Let the people be glad and rejoice: for thou shalt judge the people righteously, and govern the nations upon the earth. Selah.

Let the people praise thee, O God: let all the people praise thee.

Then shall [n]the earth bring forth her increase, and God, even our God shall bless us.

God shall bless us, and all the ends of the earth [o]shall fear him.

Ezekiel 3:4-11

And he said unto me, Son of man, go and enter into the house of Israel, and declare them my words.

For thou art not sent to a people of an [a]unknown tongue, or of an hard language, but to the house of Israel,

Not to many people of an unknown tongue, or of an hard language, whose words thou canst not understand: yet if I should send thee to them, they would obey thee.

But the house of Israel will not obey thee: for they will not obey me: yea, all the house of Israel are impudent and stiff-hearted.

Behold, I have made thy [b]face strong against their faces, and thy forehead hard against their foreheads.

I have made thy forehead as the adamant, and harder than the flint: fear them not therefore, neither be afraid at their looks: for they are a rebellious house.

10 He said moreover unto me, Son of man, [c]receive in thine heart all my words that I speak unto thee, and hear them with thine ears,

11 And go and enter to them that are led away captives unto the children of thy people, and speak unto them, and tell them, Thus saith the Lord God: but surely they will not hear, neither will they indeed cease.

Acts 10:34-44

34 [a]Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive, that (A)[b]God is no [respecter] of persons.

35 But in every nation he that [c]feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him.

36 Ye [d]know the word which God hath sent to the children of Israel, preaching peace by Jesus Christ, which is Lord of all:

37 [e]Even the word which came through all Judea, (B)beginning in Galilee, after the Baptism which John preached:

38 To wit, how God [f]anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the holy Ghost, and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil: for God was with him.

39 And we are witnesses of all things which he did both in the land of the Jews, and in Jerusalem, whom they slew, hanging him on a tree.

40 Him God raised up the third day, and caused that he was showed openly:

41 Not to all the people, but unto the witnesses [g]chosen before of God, even to us which did eat and drink with him, after he arose from the dead.

42 And he commanded us to preach unto the people, and to testify, that it is he that is ordained of God a judge of quick and dead.

43 To him also give all the (C)Prophets witness, that through his Name all that believe in him, shall receive remission of sins.

44 [h]While Peter yet spake these words, the holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the word.

Psalm 118

118 1 David rejected of Saul and of the people at the time appointed obtained the kingdom. 4 For the which he biddeth all them, that fear the Lord, to be thankful.  And under his person in all this was Christ lively set forth, who should be of his people rejected.

Praise [a]ye the Lord, because he is good: for his mercy endureth forever.

Let Israel now say, That his mercy endureth forever.

Let the house of Aaron now say, That his mercy endureth forever.

Let them that fear the Lord, now say, That his mercy endureth forever.

I called upon the Lord in [b]trouble, and the Lord heard me, and set me at large.

The Lord is with me: therefore I will not fear what [c]man can do unto me.

The Lord is with me among them that help me: therefore shall I see my desire upon mine enemies.

It is better to trust in the Lord, than to have confidence [d]in man.

It is better to trust in the Lord, than to have confidence in princes.

10 All nations have compassed me: but in the Name of the Lord shall I destroy them.

11 They have compassed me, yea, they have compassed me: but in the Name of the Lord I shall destroy them.

12 They came about me like bees, but they were quenched as a fire of thorns: for in the Name of the Lord I shall destroy them.

13 [e]Thou hast thrust sore at me, that I might fall: but the Lord hath helped me.

14 The Lord is my strength and [f]song: for he hath been my deliverance.

15 The [g]voice of joy and deliverance shall be in the tabernacles of the righteous, saying, The right hand of the Lord hath done valiantly.

16 [h]The right hand of the Lord is exalted: the right hand of the Lord hath done valiantly.

17 I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord.

18 The Lord had chastened me sore, but he hath not delivered me to death.

19 Open ye unto me the [i]gates of righteousness, that I may go into them, and praise the Lord.

20 This is the gate of the Lord: the righteous shall enter into it.

21 I will praise thee: for thou hast heard me, and hast been my deliverance.

22 (A)The stone, which the builders [j]refused, is the head of the corner.

23 This was the Lord’s doing, and it is marvelous in our eyes,

24 This is the [k]day, which the Lord hath made: let us rejoice and be glad in it.

25 [l]O Lord, I pray thee, save now: O Lord, I pray thee now give prosperity.

26 Blessed be he, that cometh in the Name of the Lord: [m]we have blessed you out of the house of the Lord.

27 The Lord is mighty, and hath given us [n]light: bind the sacrifice with cords unto the horns of the altar.

28 Thou art my God, and I will praise thee, even my God: therefore I will exalt thee.

29 Praise ye the Lord, because he is good: for his mercy endureth forever.

John 21:15-22

15 [a]So when they had dined, Jesus said to Simon Peter, Simon the son of Jonah, lovest thou me more than these? He said unto him, Yea, Lord, thou knowest that I love thee. He said unto him, Feed my lambs.

16 He said to him again the second time, Simon the son of Jonah, lovest thou me? He said unto him, Yea, Lord, thou knowest that I love thee. He said unto him, Feed my sheep.

17 He said unto him [b]the third time, Simon the son of Jonah, lovest thou me? Peter was sorry because he said to him the third time, Lovest thou me? and said unto him, Lord, thou knowest all things: thou knowest that I love thee. Jesus said unto him, Feed my sheep.

18 [c]Verily, verily I say unto thee, When thou wast young, thou [d]girdedst thyself, and walkedst whither thou wouldest: but when thou shalt be old, thou shalt stretch forth thine hands, and another shall [e]gird thee, and lead thee without thou wouldest [f]not.

19 And this spake he signifying by what [g]death he should glorify God. And when he had said this, he said to him, Follow me.

20 [h]Then Peter turned about, and saw the disciple whom JESUS loved, following, which had also (A)leaned on his breast at supper, and had said, Lord, which is he that betrayeth thee?

21 When Peter therefore saw him, he said to Jesus, Lord, what shall this man do?

22 Jesus said unto him, If I will that he tarry till I come, what is it to thee? follow thou me.
