Blessed are those(I) whose help(J) is the God of Jacob,
    whose hope is in the Lord their God.

He is the Maker of heaven(K) and earth,

He upholds(M) the cause of the oppressed(N)
    and gives food to the hungry.(O)
The Lord sets prisoners free,(P)
    the Lord gives sight(Q) to the blind,(R)
the Lord lifts up those who are bowed down,(S)
    the Lord loves the righteous.(T)
The Lord watches over the foreigner(U)
    and sustains the fatherless(V) and the widow,(W)

10 The Lord reigns(X) forever,
    your God, O Zion, for all generations.

Praise the Lord.

He provides food(AR) for the cattle
    and for the young ravens(AS) when they call.

10 His pleasure is not in the strength(AT) of the horse,(AU)
    nor his delight in the legs of the warrior;
11 the Lord delights(AV) in those who fear him,(AW)
    who put their hope(AX) in his unfailing love.(AY)

12 Extol the Lord, Jerusalem;(AZ)
    praise your God, Zion.

13 He strengthens the bars of your gates(BA)
    and blesses your people(BB) within you.
14 He grants peace(BC) to your borders
    and satisfies you(BD) with the finest of wheat.(BE)

15 He sends his command(BF) to the earth;
    his word runs(BG) swiftly.
16 He spreads the snow(BH) like wool
    and scatters the frost(BI) like ashes.
17 He hurls down his hail(BJ) like pebbles.
    Who can withstand his icy blast?
18 He sends his word(BK) and melts them;
    he stirs up his breezes,(BL) and the waters flow.

19 He has revealed his word(BM) to Jacob,(BN)
    his laws and decrees(BO) to Israel.

Praise him, you highest heavens(BX)
    and you waters above the skies.(BY)

Let them praise the name(BZ) of the Lord,
    for at his command(CA) they were created,
and he established them for ever and ever—
    he issued a decree(CB) that will never pass away.

Praise the Lord(CC) from the earth,
    you great sea creatures(CD) and all ocean depths,(CE)
lightning and hail,(CF) snow and clouds,
    stormy winds that do his bidding,(CG)
you mountains and all hills,(CH)
    fruit trees and all cedars,
10 wild animals(CI) and all cattle,
    small creatures and flying birds,
11 kings(CJ) of the earth and all nations,
    you princes and all rulers on earth,
12 young men and women,
    old men and children.

13 Let them praise the name of the Lord,(CK)
    for his name alone is exalted;
    his splendor(CL) is above the earth and the heavens.(CM)
14 And he has raised up for his people a horn,[e](CN)
    the praise(CO) of all his faithful servants,(CP)

For the Lord takes delight(CZ) in his people;
    he crowns the humble with victory.(DA)
Let his faithful people rejoice(DB) in this honor
    and sing for joy on their beds.(DC)

May the praise of God be in their mouths(DD)
    and a double-edged(DE) sword in their hands,(DF)
to inflict vengeance(DG) on the nations
    and punishment(DH) on the peoples,
to bind their kings with fetters,(DI)
    their nobles with shackles of iron,(DJ)
to carry out the sentence written against them—(DK)
    this is the glory of all his faithful people.(DL)

Praise the Lord.

Exodus 13:3-10

Then Moses said to the people, “Commemorate this day, the day you came out of Egypt,(A) out of the land of slavery, because the Lord brought you out of it with a mighty hand.(B) Eat nothing containing yeast.(C) Today, in the month of Aviv,(D) you are leaving. When the Lord brings you into the land of the Canaanites,(E) Hittites, Amorites, Hivites and Jebusites(F)—the land he swore to your ancestors to give you, a land flowing with milk and honey(G)—you are to observe this ceremony(H) in this month: For seven days eat bread made without yeast and on the seventh day hold a festival(I) to the Lord. Eat unleavened bread during those seven days; nothing with yeast in it is to be seen among you, nor shall any yeast be seen anywhere within your borders. On that day tell your son,(J) ‘I do this because of what the Lord did for me when I came out of Egypt.’ This observance will be for you like a sign on your hand(K) and a reminder on your forehead(L) that this law of the Lord is to be on your lips. For the Lord brought you out of Egypt with his mighty hand.(M) 10 You must keep this ordinance(N) at the appointed time(O) year after year.

1 Corinthians 15:41-50

41 The sun has one kind of splendor,(A) the moon another and the stars another;(B) and star differs from star in splendor.

42 So will it be(C) with the resurrection of the dead.(D) The body that is sown is perishable, it is raised imperishable;(E) 43 it is sown in dishonor, it is raised in glory;(F) it is sown in weakness, it is raised in power; 44 it is sown a natural body, it is raised a spiritual body.(G)

If there is a natural body, there is also a spiritual body. 45 So it is written: “The first man Adam became a living being”[a];(H) the last Adam,(I) a life-giving spirit.(J) 46 The spiritual did not come first, but the natural, and after that the spiritual.(K) 47 The first man was of the dust of the earth;(L) the second man is of heaven.(M) 48 As was the earthly man, so are those who are of the earth; and as is the heavenly man, so also are those who are of heaven.(N) 49 And just as we have borne the image of the earthly man,(O) so shall we[b] bear the image of the heavenly man.(P)

50 I declare to you, brothers and sisters, that flesh and blood(Q) cannot inherit the kingdom of God,(R) nor does the perishable inherit the imperishable.(S)

Matthew 28:16-20

The Great Commission

16 Then the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go.(A) 17 When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted. 18 Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.(B) 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations,(C) baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,(D) 20 and teaching(E) them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you(F) always, to the very end of the age.”(G)
