Jubilee Bible 2000 (JUB)
Version
Psalm 148-150

¶ Halelu-JAH. Praise ye the LORD from the heavens; praise him in the heights.

Praise ye him, all his angels; praise ye him, all his hosts.

Praise ye him, sun and moon; praise him, all ye stars of light.

Praise him, ye heavens of heavens and ye waters that are above the heavens.

Let them praise the name of the LORD; for he commanded, and they were created.

He has established them for ever and ever: he has made a law which shall not be broken.

¶ Praise the LORD from the earth, ye dragons and all deeps,

fire and hail; snow and vapour; stormy wind fulfilling his word,

mountains and all hills; fruitful trees and all cedars,

10 beasts and all animals; creeping things and flying fowl,

11 kings of the earth and all the peoples, princes and all judges of the earth,

12 both young men and maidens, the old with the children,

13 Let them praise the name of the LORD; for his name alone is excellent; his glory is above earth and heavens.

He

14 has exalted the horn of his people; let all his merciful ones praise him; even of the sons of Israel, the people near unto him. Halelu-JAH.

¶ Halelu-JAH. Sing unto the LORD a new song, let his praise be in the congregation of the merciful.

Let Israel rejoice with his Maker; let the sons of Zion be joyful with their King.

Let them praise his name in the dance; let them sing praises unto him with the timbrel and harp.

For the LORD takes pleasure in his people; he will beautify the humble with saving health.

The merciful shall be joyful with glory; they shall sing aloud upon their beds.

¶ The high praises of God shall be in their mouth and a two-edged sword in their hand,

to execute vengeance upon the Gentiles and punishments upon the peoples,

to imprison their kings with fetters and their nobles with chains of iron,

to execute upon them the judgment written: this shall be glory for all his merciful ones. Halelu-JAH.

¶ Halelu-JAH. Praise God in his sanctuary; praise him in the firmament of his power.

Praise him for his mighty acts; praise him according to his excellent greatness.

Praise him with the sound of the shofar; praise him with the psaltery and harp.

Praise him with the timbrel and dance; praise him with stringed instruments and organs.

Praise him upon the loud cymbals; praise him upon the cymbals of joy.

Let every thing that has breath praise JAH. Halelu-JAH.

Psalm 114-115

¶ When Israel went out of Egypt, the house of Jacob from a people of strange language,

Judah was his holiness, and Israel his dominion.

The sea saw it and fled; Jordan was driven back.

The mountains skipped like rams and the little hills like lambs.

What came upon thee, O thou sea, that thou didst flee? And thou O Jordan, that thou wast driven back?

Ye mountains, why didst ye skip like rams and ye little hills, like lambs?

At the presence of the Lord, the earth trembles, at the presence of the God of Jacob,

who turned the rock into a reservoir of water, the flint into a fountain of waters.

¶ Not unto us, O LORD, not unto us, but unto thy name give glory, for thy mercy and for thy truth.

Why should the Gentiles say, Where is now their God?

But our God is in the heavens; he has made whatever he has desired.

Their idols are silver and gold, the work of men’s hands.

They have mouths, but they shall never speak; they have eyes, but they shall never see:

They have ears, but they shall never hear; they have noses, but they shall never smell;

they have hands, but they shall never touch; they have feet, but they shall never walk; they shall never speak through their throat.

Let those that make them become like unto them, and every one that trusts in them.

¶ O Israel, trust thou in the LORD; he is your help and your shield.

10 O house of Aaron, trust in the LORD; he is your help and your shield.

11 Ye that fear the LORD, trust in the LORD; he is your help and your shield.

12 The LORD has been mindful of us: he will bless us; he will greatly bless the house of Israel; he will bless the house of Aaron.

13 He will bless those that fear the LORD, both small and great.

14 The LORD shall increase his blessing upon you more and more, upon you and your sons.

15 Ye are blessed of the LORD who made the heavens and earth.

16 The heavens are the heavens of the LORD, but the earth he has given to the sons of Adam.

17 The dead shall not praise JAH, neither any that go down into silence.

18 But we will bless JAH from this time forth and for evermore. Halelu-JAH.

Deuteronomy 6:1-9

¶ Now these are the commandments, the statutes, and the rights, which the LORD your God commanded to teach you that ye might do them in the land into which ye go to inherit it

that thou might fear the LORD thy God, to keep all his statutes and his commandments, which I command thee, thou and thy son and thy son’s son, all the days of thy life and that thy days may be prolonged.

Hear, therefore, O Israel, and observe to do it that it may be well with thee and that ye may be multiplied exceedingly (as the LORD God of thy fathers has said unto thee) in the land that flows with milk and honey.

¶ Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD.

And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart and with all thy soul and with all thy might.

And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be upon thy heart,

and thou shalt repeat them diligently unto thy sons and shalt talk of them being in thy house and walking by the way, lying down in bed, and rising up;

and thou shalt bind them for a sign upon thy hand, and they shall be as frontlets between thy eyes;

and thou shalt write them upon the posts of thy house and on thy gates.

Hebrews 12:18-29

18 ¶ For ye are not come unto the mount that might be touched and that burned with fire nor unto blackness and darkness and tempest

19 and the sound of a trumpet and the voice of words, which voice those that heard intreated that the word should not be spoken to them any more;

20 (for they could not endure that which was commanded, and if so much as a beast should touch the mountain, it shall be stoned or thrust through with a dart:

21 and so terrible was the sight that Moses said, I exceedingly fear and quake);

22 but ye are come unto Mount Sion and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels,

23 to the congregation of the called out ones of the firstborn, who are registered in the heavens and to God the Judge of all and to the spirits of just men made perfect

24 and to Jesus, the mediator of the new testament and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaks better than that of Abel.

25 See that you do not refuse him that speaks. For if those who refused him that spoke on earth did not escape, much less shall we escape, if we turn away from him that speaks from the heavens,

26 whose voice then shook the earth; but now he has promised, saying, Yet even once, I shall shake not the earth only, but also the heaven.

27 And this word, Yet even once, signifies the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain.

28 Therefore, receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us hold fast to the grace, by which we serve God, pleasing him with reverence and godly fear:

29 for our God is a consuming fire.

John 12:24-32

24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except the grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it abides alone; but if it dies, it brings forth much fruit.

25 He that loves his life shall lose it, and he that hates his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal.

26 If anyone serves me, let them follow me; and where I am, there shall my servant be also; the one that serves me, will my Father honour.

27 ¶ Now is my soul troubled; and what shall I say? Father, save me from this hour, but for this have I come in this hour.

28 Father, clarify thy name. Then there came a voice from the heaven, saying, I have clarified it and will clarify it again.

29 The people, therefore, that were present and heard it, said that it thundered; others said, An angel spoke to him.

30 Jesus answered and said, This voice came not because of me, but for your sakes.

31 Now is the judgment of this world; now shall the prince of this world be cast out.

32 And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me.
