²⁰ And as for every matter of ^(A)wisdom in understanding which the king sought from them, he found them ^(B)ten times ^(C)better than all the ^[a](D)magicians and conjurers who were in all his kingdom.

²⁰ Daniel answered and said,

²⁸ However, there is a ^(A)God in heaven who reveals mysteries, and He has made known to King Nebuchadnezzar what will take place in the ^[a](B)last days. This was your dream and the ^(C)visions of your head while on your bed.

¹¹ There is a ^(A)man in your kingdom in whom is ^[a]a ^(B)spirit of the holy gods; and in the days of your father, illumination, insight, and wisdom like the wisdom of the gods were found in him. And King Nebuchadnezzar, your father, your father ^[b](C)the king, set him as chief of the ^[c]magicians, conjurers, ^[d]Chaldeans, and diviners. ¹² This was because an ^(D)extraordinary spirit, knowledge and insight, interpretation of dreams, explanation of enigmas, and ^[e]solving of difficult problems were found in this Daniel, whom the king named ^(E)Belteshazzar. Let Daniel now be summoned, and he will declare the interpretation.”
