¹¹ There is a ^(A)man in your kingdom in whom is ^[a]a ^(B)spirit of the holy gods; and in the days of your father, illumination, insight, and wisdom like the wisdom of the gods were found in him. And King Nebuchadnezzar, your father, your father ^[b](C)the king, set him as chief of the ^[c]magicians, conjurers, ^[d]Chaldeans, and diviners.

¹⁴ Now I have heard about you that ^[a]a spirit of the gods is in you, and that illumination, insight, and extraordinary wisdom have been found in you.

¹⁷ Every good thing given and every perfect gift is ^(A)from above, coming down from ^(B)the Father of lights, ^(C)with whom there is no variation or ^[a]shifting shadow.

God Is Light

^5 (A)And this is the message we have heard from Him and declare to you, that ^(B)God is Light, and in Him there is no darkness at all.
