⁹ So ^(A)give Your slave a listening heart to judge Your people ^(B)to discern between good and evil. For who is able to ^[a]judge this glorious people of Yours?”

^10 [b]And it was pleasing in the sight of the Lord that Solomon had asked this thing.

²⁹ And ^(A)God gave Solomon wisdom and very great discernment and breadth of understanding in his heart, ^(B)like the sand that is on the seashore.

⁵ But if any of you ^(A)lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all generously and ^[a]without reproach, and ^(B)it will be given to him.
