³⁰ And Solomon’s wisdom surpassed the wisdom of all ^(A)the sons of the east and ^(B)all the wisdom of Egypt. ³¹ And ^(C)he was wiser than all men, than ^(D)Ethan the Ezrahite, Heman, ^(E)Calcol, and ^[a]Darda, the sons of Mahol; and the renown of his name was in all the surrounding nations.

¹⁷ And as for these four youths, ^(A)God gave them knowledge and insight in every branch of ^[a]literature and wisdom; Daniel even understood all kinds of ^(B)visions and dreams.
