路加福音 4:38-44
在迦百農治病
38 耶穌起身離開會堂，進了西門的家。西門的岳母正發高燒，他們就為她求耶穌。 39 耶穌就站在她旁邊，斥責那高燒，燒就退了。她立刻起來，服事他們。
40 日落的時候，眾人把患有各種疾病的人都帶到耶穌那裡。他按手在他們每一個人身上，使他們痊癒。 41 也有鬼魔從許多人身上出來，喊叫說：「你是[a]神的兒子！」耶穌斥責它們，不讓它們說話，因為它們知道他是基督。
在加利利傳道
42 天亮的時候，耶穌出去，走到一個荒僻的地方。眾人尋找他，來到他那裡，想留住他，不讓他離開。 43 但是耶穌對他們說：「我還必須到別的城去傳神國的福音，因為我是為此奉差派的。」 44 於是耶穌繼續在加利利[b]地區的各會堂裡傳道。
