Psalm 105:1-11

105 1 He praiseth the singular grace of God, who hath of all the people of the world chosen a peculiar people to himself, and having chosen them, never ceaseth to do them good, even for his promise’s sake.

Praise the Lord, and call upon his Name: [a]declare his works among the people.

Sing unto him, sing praise unto him, and talk of all his wondrous works.

Rejoice in his holy Name, let the heart of them that seek the Lord, rejoice.

Seek the Lord and his [b]strength: seek his face continually.

Remember his [c]marvelous works that he hath done, his wonders, and the [d]judgments of his mouth,

Ye seed of Abraham his servant, ye children of Jacob, which are his elect.

He is the Lord our God: his judgments are through all the earth.

He hath always remembered his covenant, and promise, that he made to a thousand generations,

Even that which he [e]made with Abraham, and his oath unto Isaac:

10 And since hath confirmed it to Jacob for a law, and to Israel for an everlasting covenant,

11 Saying, [f]Unto thee will I give the land of Canaan, the lot of your inheritance.

Psalm 105:37-45

37 He brought them forth also with silver and gold, and there was [a]none feeble among their tribes.

38 Egypt was [b]glad at their departing: for the fear of them had fallen upon them.

39 He spread a cloud to be a covering, and fire to give light in the night.

40 They [c]asked, and he brought quails, and he filled them with the bread of heaven.

41 He opened the rock, and the water flowed out, and ran in the dry places like a river.

42 For he remembered his holy [d]promise to Abraham his servant,

43 And he brought forth his people with [e]joy, and his chosen with gladness,

44 And gave them the lands of the heathen, and they took the labors of the people in possession,

45 That they might [f]keep his statutes, and observe his Laws. Praise ye the Lord.

Jeremiah 30:12-22

12 For thus saith the Lord, Thy bruising is incurable, and thy wound is dolorous.

13 There is none to judge thy cause, or to lay a plaster: there are no medicines, nor help for thee.

14 All thy lovers have forgotten thee: they seek thee not: for I have stricken thee with the wound of an enemy, and with a sharp chastisement for the multitude of thine iniquities, because thy sins were increased.

15 Why cryest thou for thine affliction? thy sorrow is incurable, for the multitude of thine iniquities: because thy sins were increased, I have done these things unto thee.

16 [a]Therefore all they that devour thee, shall be devoured, and all thine enemies everyone shall go into captivity, and they that spoil thee, shall be spoiled, and all they that rob thee, will I give to be robbed.

17 For I will restore health unto thee, and I will heal thee of thy wounds, saith the Lord, because they called thee, The castaway, saying, This is Zion whom no man seeketh after.

18 Thus saith the Lord, Behold, I will bring again the captivity of Jacob’s tents, and have compassion on his dwelling places, and the city shall be built upon her own heap, [b]and the palace shall remain after the manner thereof.

19 And out of them shall proceed [c]thanksgiving, and the voice of them that are joyous, and I will multiply them, and they shall not be few: I will also glorify them, and they shall not be diminished.

20 Their children also shall be as afore time, and their congregation shall be established before me: and I will visit all that vex them.

21 And their [d]noble ruler shall be of themselves, and their governor shall proceed from the midst of them, and I will cause him to draw near and approach unto me: for who is this that directeth his [e]heart to come unto me, saith the Lord?

22 And ye shall be my people, and I will be your God.

John 12:36-43

36 While ye have that light, believe in that light, that ye may be the [a]children of the light. These things spake Jesus, and departed, and hid himself from them.

37 [b]And though he had done so many miracles before them, yet believed they not on him,

38 That the saying of Isaiah the Prophet might be fulfilled, that he said, (A)Lord, who believed our report? and to whom is the [c]arm of the Lord revealed?

39 Therefore could they not believe, because that Isaiah saith again,

40 (B)He hath blinded their eyes, and hardened their heart, that they should not see with their eyes, nor understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.

41 These things said Isaiah when he saw his glory, and spake of him.

42 [d]Nevertheless, even among the chief rulers, many believed in him: but because of the Pharisees they did not confess him, lest they should be cast out of the Synagogue.

43 (C)For they loved the praise of men, more than the praise of God.
