Version
Psalm 29

A Psalm of David.

¶ Give unto the LORD, O ye mighty, give unto the LORD glory and strength.

Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name; worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness.

The voice of the LORD is upon the waters: the God of glory thunders: the LORD is upon many waters.

The voice of the LORD is powerful; the voice of the LORD is full of majesty.

The voice of the LORD breaks the cedars; yea, the LORD broke the cedars of Lebanon.

And He made them skip like calves; Lebanon and Sirion like the sons of the unicorns.

The voice of the LORD divides the flames of fire.

The voice of the LORD that shall shake the wilderness; the LORD shall shake the wilderness of Kadesh.

The voice of the LORD shall make the hinds to calve and shall uncover the forests: and in his temple every one speaks to his glory.

10 The LORD sits upon the flood; yea, the LORD sat down as King for ever.

11 The LORD will give strength unto his people; the LORD will bless his people in peace.

Job 38:39-39:12

39 Wilt thou hunt the prey for the lion or fill the appetite of the young lions,

40 when they crouch in their dens and abide in their lairs to lie in wait?

41 Who provided food for the raven; when his young ones cry unto God, they wander for lack of food?

39 ¶ Knowest thou the time when the mountain goats bring forth? Hast thou observed when the hinds calve?

Canst thou number the months that they fulfil, and knowest thou the time when they bring forth?

How they crouch down, they bring forth their young ones, and dismiss their pain.

Their young ones are healthy, they grow up with grain; they go forth and never return unto them again.

Who freed the wild ass, and who loosed its bands?

Unto whom I made a house in the wilderness, and his dwellings in the salty land.

He laughs at the multitude of the city, neither does he hearken to the voice of the exactor of tribute.

The range of the mountains is his pasture, and he searches after every green thing.

Will the unicorn be willing to serve thee or abide by thy crib?

10 Canst thou bind the unicorn with his band in the furrow? Will he harrow the valleys after thee?

11 Wilt thou trust him because his strength is great? Or wilt thou leave thy labour to him?

12 Wilt thou trust him, that he will bring home thy seed and gather it into thy barn?

1 Corinthians 12:1-3

12 ¶ Now regarding spiritual things, brothers, I would not have you ignore them.

Ye know that when ye were Gentiles, ye went, even as ye were led, unto the dumb idols.

Therefore I give you to understand, that no one speaking by the Spirit of God calls Jesus anathema and that no one can call Jesus Lord but by the Holy Spirit.
