119 How blessed are those whose way is [a](A)blameless,
Who (B)walk in the law of the Lord.
2 How blessed are those who (C)observe His testimonies,
Who (D)seek Him (E)with all their heart.
3 They also (F)do no unrighteousness;
They walk in His ways.
4 You have [b](G)ordained Your precepts,
[c]That we should keep them diligently.
5 Oh that my (H)ways may be established
To (I)keep Your statutes!
6 Then I (J)shall not be ashamed
When I look [d]upon all Your commandments.
7 I shall (K)give thanks to You with uprightness of heart,
When I learn Your righteous judgments.
8 I shall keep Your statutes;
Do not (L)forsake me utterly!
Isaac Settles in Gerar
26 Now there was (A)a famine in the land, besides the previous famine that had occurred in the days of Abraham. So Isaac went to Gerar, to (B)Abimelech king of the Philistines. 2 The Lord (C)appeared to him and said, “Do not go down to Egypt; [a](D)stay in the land of which I shall tell you. 3 Sojourn in this land and (E)I will be with you and (F)bless you, for (G)to you and to your [b]descendants I will give all these lands, and I will establish (H)the oath which I swore to your father Abraham. 4 (I)I will multiply your [c]descendants as the stars of heaven, and will give your [d]descendants all these lands; and (J)by your [e]descendants all the nations of the earth [f]shall be blessed; 5 because Abraham [g](K)obeyed Me and kept My charge, My commandments, My statutes and My laws.”
12 (A)Blessed is a man who perseveres under trial; for once he has [a]been approved, he will receive (B)the crown of life which the Lord (C)has promised to those who (D)love Him. 13 Let no one say when he is tempted, “(E)I am being tempted [b]by God”; for God cannot be tempted [c]by evil, and He Himself does not tempt anyone. 14 But each one is tempted when he is carried away and enticed by his own lust. 15 Then (F)when lust has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and when (G)sin [d]is accomplished, it brings forth death. 16 (H)Do not be [e]deceived, (I)my beloved brethren.
