Psalm 83:1-4

God Implored to Confound His Enemies.

A Song, a Psalm of Asaph.

83 God, (A)do not remain quiet;
(B)Do not be silent and, God, do not be still.
For behold, Your enemies (C)make an uproar,
And (D)those who hate You have [a](E)exalted themselves.
They (F)make shrewd plans against Your people,
And [b]conspire together against (G)Your [c]treasured ones.
They have said, “Come, and (H)let’s wipe them out [d]as a nation,
So that the (I)name of Israel will no longer be remembered.”

Psalm 83:13-18

13 My God, make them like the [a](A)whirling dust,
Like (B)chaff before the wind.
14 Like (C)fire that burns the forest,
And like a flame that (D)sets the mountains on fire,
15 So pursue them (E)with Your heavy gale,
And terrify them with Your storm.
16 (F)Fill their faces with dishonor,
So that they will seek Your name, Lord.
17 May they be (G)ashamed and dismayed forever,
And may they be humiliated and perish,
18 So that they will (H)know that (I)You alone, whose name is the Lord,
Are the (J)Most High over all the earth.

Exodus 4:10-31

10 Then Moses said to the Lord, “Please, Lord, (A)I have never been [a]eloquent, neither [b]recently nor in time past, nor since You have spoken to Your servant; for I am [c]slow of speech and [d]slow of tongue.” 11 But the Lord said to him, “Who has made the human mouth? Or (B)who makes anyone unable to speak or deaf, or able to see or blind? Is it not I, the Lord? 12 Now then go, and (C)I Myself will be with your mouth, and (D)instruct you in what you are to say.” 13 But he said, “Please, Lord, now send the message by [e]whomever You will.”

Aaron to Be Moses’ Mouthpiece

14 Then the anger of the Lord burned against Moses, and He said, “Is there not your brother Aaron the Levite? I know that [f]he speaks fluently. And moreover, behold, (E)he is coming out to meet you; when he sees you, he will be [g]overjoyed. 15 So you are to speak to him and (F)put the words in his mouth; and I Myself will be with your mouth and his mouth, and I will instruct you in what you are to do. 16 (G)He shall speak for you to the people; and he will be as a mouth for you and you will be as God to him. 17 And you shall take in your hand (H)this staff, (I)with which you shall perform the signs.”

18 Then Moses departed and returned to (J)his father-in-law [h]Jethro, and said to him, “Please, let me go, that I may return to my brothers who are in Egypt, and see if they are still alive.” And Jethro said to Moses, “Go in peace.” 19 Now the Lord said to Moses in Midian, “Go [i]back to Egypt, for (K)all the men who were seeking your life are dead.” 20 So Moses took his wife and his (L)sons and mounted them on a donkey, and returned to the land of Egypt. Moses also took the (M)staff of God in his hand.

21 And the Lord said to Moses, “When you go [j]back to Egypt, see that you perform before Pharaoh all (N)the wonders which I have put in your [k]power; but (O)I will harden his heart so that he will not let the people go. 22 Then you shall say to Pharaoh, ‘This is what the Lord says: “(P)Israel is My son, My firstborn. 23 So I said to you, ‘(Q)Let My son go so that he may serve Me’; but you have refused to let him go. Behold, (R)I am going to kill your son, your firstborn.”’”

24 But it came about at the overnight encampment on the way, that the Lord met [l]Moses, and (S)sought to put him to death. 25 So Zipporah took (T)a flint and cut off her son’s foreskin and [m]threw it at Moses’ feet; and she said, “You are indeed a groom of blood to me!” 26 So He left him alone. At that time she said, “You are a groom of blood”—[n]because of the circumcision.

27 (U)Now the Lord said to Aaron, “Go to meet Moses in the wilderness.” So he went and met him at the (V)mountain of God and kissed him. 28 (W)Moses told Aaron all the words of the Lord with which He had sent him, and (X)all the signs that He had commanded him to do. 29 Then Moses and Aaron went and (Y)assembled all the elders of the sons of Israel; 30 and (Z)Aaron spoke all the words which the Lord had spoken to Moses. He then performed the (AA)signs in the sight of the people. 31 So (AB)the people believed; and when they heard that the Lord [o](AC)was concerned about the sons of Israel and that He had seen their affliction, (AD)they bowed low and worshiped.

Revelation 3:1-6

Message to Sardis

“To the angel of the church in (A)Sardis write:

He who has [a](B)the seven spirits of God and (C)the seven stars, says this: ‘(D)I know your deeds, that you have a name that you are alive, and yet you are (E)dead. Be constantly alert, and strengthen the things that remain, which were about to die; for I have not found your deeds completed in the sight of My God. So (F)remember [b]what you have received and heard; and [c]keep it, and (G)repent. Then if you are not alert, (H)I will come (I)like a thief, and you will not know at (J)what hour I will come to you. But you have a few [d](K)people in (L)Sardis who have not (M)soiled their garments; and they will walk with Me (N)in white, for they are worthy. (O)The one who overcomes will be clothed the same way, in (P)white garments; and I will not (Q)erase his name from the book of life, and (R)I will confess his name before My Father and before His angels. (S)The one who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.’
