New King James Version (NKJV)
Version
Psalm 33:12-22

12 Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord,
The people He has (A)chosen as His own inheritance.

13 (B)The Lord looks from heaven;
He sees all the sons of men.
14 From the place of His dwelling He looks
On all the inhabitants of the earth;
15 He fashions their hearts individually;
(C)He [a]considers all their works.

16 (D)No king is saved by the multitude of an army;
A mighty man is not delivered by great strength.
17 (E)A horse is a [b]vain hope for safety;
Neither shall it deliver any by its great strength.

18 (F)Behold, the eye of the Lord is on those who fear Him,
On those who hope in His mercy,
19 To deliver their soul from death,
And (G)to keep them alive in famine.

20 Our soul waits for the Lord;
He is our help and our shield.
21 For our heart shall rejoice in Him,
Because we have trusted in His holy name.
22 Let Your mercy, O Lord, be upon us,
Just as we hope in You.

Exodus 15:6-11

“Your (A)right hand, O Lord, has become glorious in power;
Your right hand, O Lord, has dashed the enemy in pieces.
And in the greatness of Your (B)excellence
You have overthrown those who rose against You;
You sent forth (C)Your wrath;
It (D)consumed them (E)like stubble.
And (F)with the blast of Your nostrils
The waters were gathered together;
(G)The floods stood upright like a heap;
The depths [a]congealed in the heart of the sea.
(H)The enemy said, ‘I will pursue,
I will overtake,
I will (I)divide the spoil;
My desire shall be satisfied on them.
I will draw my sword,
My hand shall destroy them.’
10 You blew with Your wind,
The sea covered them;
They sank like lead in the mighty waters.

11 “Who(J) is like You, O Lord, among the [b]gods?
Who is like You, (K)glorious in holiness,
Fearful in (L)praises, (M)doing wonders?

John 7:37-39

The Promise of the Holy Spirit

37 (A)On the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, (B)“If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink. 38 (C)He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, (D)out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.” 39 (E)But this He spoke concerning the Spirit, whom those [a]believing in Him would receive; for the [b]Holy Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus was not yet (F)glorified.
