Version
Psalm 85:1-2

Prayer for God’s Mercy upon the Nation.

For the music director. A Psalm of the sons of Korah.

85 Lord, You showed (A)favor to Your land;
You (B)restored the fortunes of Jacob.
You (C)forgave the guilt of Your people;
You (D)covered all their sin. Selah

Psalm 85:8-13

[a]I will hear what God the Lord will say;
For He will (A)speak peace to His people, to His godly ones;
And may they not (B)turn back to [b]foolishness.
Certainly (C)His salvation is near to those who [c]fear Him,
That (D)glory may dwell in our land.
10 (E)Graciousness and [d]truth have met together;
(F)Righteousness and peace have kissed each other.
11 [e]Truth (G)sprouts from the earth,
And righteousness looks down from heaven.
12 Indeed, (H)the Lord will give what is good,
And our (I)land will yield its produce.
13 (J)Righteousness will go before Him
And will make His footsteps into a way.

Ezekiel 36:24-28

24 For I will (A)take you from the nations, and gather you from all the lands; and I will bring you into your own land. 25 Then I will (B)sprinkle clean water on you, and you will be clean; I will cleanse you from all your (C)filthiness and from all your (D)idols. 26 Moreover, I will give you a (E)new heart and put a new spirit within you; and I will remove the (F)heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. 27 And I will (G)put My Spirit within you and bring it about that you walk in My statutes, and are careful and [a]follow My ordinances. 28 And you will live in the land that I gave to your forefathers; so you will be (H)My people, and I will be your God.

Mark 11:27-33

Jesus’ Authority Questioned

27 And they *came again to Jerusalem. (A)And as He was walking in the temple area, the chief priests, the scribes, and the elders *came to Him, 28 and began saying to Him, “By what authority are You doing these things, or who gave You this authority to do these things?” 29 But Jesus said to them, “I will ask you one question, and you answer Me, and then I will tell you by what authority I do these things. 30 Was the baptism of John from heaven, or from men? Answer Me.” 31 And they began considering the implications among themselves, saying, “If we say, ‘From heaven,’ He will say, ‘Then why did you not believe him?’ 32 But should we say, ‘From men’?”—they were afraid of the [a]people, for they all considered John to have been a real prophet. 33 Answering Jesus, they *said, “We do not know.” And Jesus *said to them, “Neither am I telling you by what authority I do these things.”
