New American Standard Bible (NASB)
Version
Psalm 85:1-2

Prayer for God’s Mercy upon the Nation.

For the music director. A Psalm of the sons of Korah.

85 Lord, You showed (A)favor to Your land;
You (B)restored the fortunes of Jacob.
You (C)forgave the guilt of Your people;
You (D)covered all their sin. Selah

Psalm 85:8-13

[a]I will hear what God the Lord will say;
For He will (A)speak peace to His people, to His godly ones;
And may they not (B)turn back to [b]foolishness.
Certainly (C)His salvation is near to those who [c]fear Him,
That (D)glory may dwell in our land.
10 (E)Graciousness and [d]truth have met together;
(F)Righteousness and peace have kissed each other.
11 [e]Truth (G)sprouts from the earth,
And righteousness looks down from heaven.
12 Indeed, (H)the Lord will give what is good,
And our (I)land will yield its produce.
13 (J)Righteousness will go before Him
And will make His footsteps into a way.

Jeremiah 1:4-10

Now the word of the Lord came to me, saying,

“Before I (A)formed you in the womb I knew you,
And (B)before you were born I consecrated you;
I have (C)appointed you as a prophet to the nations.”
Then (D)I said, “Oh, Lord [a]God!
Behold, I do not know how to speak,
Because (E)I am a youth.”
But the Lord said to me,
“Do not say, ‘I am a youth,’
(F)Because everywhere I send you, you shall go,
And (G)all that I command you, you shall speak.
(H)Do not be afraid of them,
For (I)I am with you to save you,” declares the Lord.

Then the Lord stretched out His hand and (J)touched my mouth, and the Lord said to me,

“Behold, I have (K)put My words in your mouth.
10 See, (L)I have appointed you this day over the nations and over the kingdoms,
(M)To root out and to tear down,
To destroy and to overthrow,
(N)To build and to plant.”

Acts 11:19-26

The Church in Antioch

19 (A)So then those who were scattered because of the [a]persecution that occurred in connection with Stephen made their way [b]to (B)Phoenicia, (C)Cyprus, and (D)Antioch, speaking the word to no one except to Jews alone. 20 But there were some of them, men of (E)Cyprus and (F)Cyrene, who came to (G)Antioch and began speaking to the [c](H)Greeks as well, (I)preaching the good news of the Lord Jesus. 21 And (J)the hand of the Lord was with them, and (K)a large number who believed turned to the Lord. 22 The [d]news about them [e]reached the ears of the church in Jerusalem, and they sent (L)Barnabas off [f]to (M)Antioch. 23 Then when he arrived and [g]witnessed (N)the grace of God, he rejoiced and began to encourage them all with [h]resolute heart to remain true to the Lord; 24 for he was a good man, and (O)full of the Holy Spirit and faith. And [i](P)considerable numbers were added to the Lord. 25 And he left for (Q)Tarsus to look for Saul; 26 and when he had found him, he brought him to (R)Antioch. And for an entire year they [j]met with the church and taught [k]considerable numbers of people; and (S)the disciples were first called (T)Christians in (U)Antioch.
