New American Standard Bible (NASB)
Version
Psalm 145:8-9

The Lord is (A)gracious and compassionate;
Slow to anger and great in mercy.
The Lord is (B)good to all,
And His (C)mercies are over all His works.

Psalm 145:14-21

14 The Lord (A)supports all who fall,
And (B)raises up all who are bowed down.
15 The eyes of all [a]look to You,
And You (C)give them their food in due time.
16 You (D)open Your hand
And satisfy the desire of every living thing.

17 The Lord is (E)righteous in all His ways,
And kind in all His works.
18 The Lord is (F)near to all who call on Him,
To all who call on Him (G)in truth.
19 He will (H)fulfill the desire of those who fear Him;
He will also (I)hear their cry for help and save them.
20 The Lord (J)watches over all who love Him,
But He will destroy all the (K)wicked.
21 My (L)mouth will speak the praise of the Lord,
And (M)all flesh will (N)bless His holy name forever and ever.

Isaiah 51:17-23

17 (A)Pull yourself up! Pull yourself up! Arise, Jerusalem!
You who have (B)drunk from the Lords hand the cup of His anger;
The [a]chalice of staggering you have drunk to the dregs.
18 There is (C)no one to guide her among all the sons to whom she has given birth,
Nor is there anyone to take her by the hand among all the sons she has raised.
19 These two things have happened to you;
Who will mourn for you?
The (D)devastation and destruction, famine and sword;
How shall I comfort you?
20 Your sons have fainted,
They (E)lie helpless at the head of every street,
Like an (F)antelope in a net,
Full of the wrath of the Lord,
The (G)rebuke of your God.

21 Therefore, listen to this, you (H)afflicted,
Who are (I)drunk, but not with wine:
22 This is what your Lord, the Lord, your God
Who (J)contends for His people says:
“Behold, I have taken from your hand the (K)cup of staggering,
The [b]chalice of My anger;
You will never drink it again.
23 I will (L)put it into the hand of your tormentors,
Who have said to [c]you, ‘(M)Lie down so that we may walk over you.’
You have also made your back like the ground,
And like the street for those who walk over it.”

Romans 9:6-13

But it is not as though (A)the word of God has failed. (B)For they are not all Israel who are descended from Israel; nor are they all children (C)because they are Abraham’s [a](D)descendants, but: “[b](E)through Isaac your [c]descendants shall be named.” That is, it is not the children of the flesh [d]who are (F)children of God, but the (G)children of the promise are regarded as [e](H)descendants. For this is the word of promise: “(I)At this time I will come, and Sarah will have a son.” 10 (J)And not only that, but there was also (K)Rebekah, when she had conceived twins by one man, our father Isaac; 11 for though the twins were not yet born and had not done anything good or bad, so that (L)God’s purpose according to His choice would [f]stand, not [g]because of works but [h]because of Him who calls, 12 it was said to her, “(M)The older will serve the younger.” 13 Just as it is written: “(N)Jacob I have loved, but Esau I have hated.”
